I paid for a subscription but every time I open the app I get a pop up ad to buy more services.
Edit: the dev response is to turn off push notifications. This is different to the full page ads when I open the app.

Stopped everything, went to an Apple Store and they deleted it.

Not impressed
I switched to Surfshark about 3 months ago. I have connection issues constantly. I paid for the annual subscription up front and will likely switch anyway. My previous VPN worked flawlessly in comparison.
Avoid the trap
Got the app based on reviews for both my pc and phone. “Special” pricing got me through 39 months.
2FA verification takes 2-3 minutes each time (WAY TOO SLOW)
Started process to get a refund (within 3 days of purchase) and they were only going to refund 1/3 of the price I paid.
Will be fighting this through my CC company.

Great vpn
Performs well and regular updates to the app delivered easily, good throughput speed and generally quick to connect

So I was looking for a free vpn service and this pops up offering that. Utter rubbish they want £3.79 a month to use their vpn.
Why not just say that instead of lying to potential customers.

VPN utility
Having Issues Lately. If I put My VPN on anything but static 01 its doesn’t mask my IP country of origin. If I use any other server but U.S. it will change my country to Israel.

Less than a month after my subscription renewed and an automatic update on iOS that locks the devices location to the uk means I’ve basically been scammed out of almost 50 quid for the year. The device itself is locked to the UK no matter what vpn you have on so it’s basically a scam now and there’s no 30 refund if you’ve auto renewed.

This vpn cannot stream anything in good quality, do not waste you money… if you can get a free trial then try, but in my experience absolutely garbage

Cuts out
Sometimes the only way I can get it to work it just switch it off and use the phone without it. Sometimes changing to a different country brings connection back on stream again and then I can change back to Sutfshark and switch it on and then it works okay, but actually it’s quite a nuisance these days.

I have no complaints with sufshark as I’ve paid for a subscription pack soo will see how this works for me as I am positivity optimistic for protection for my security.
Bad, Slow, Dropped Connections Oh My
This bricks my phone about 50% of the time. When it works it’s not bad but it’s slower than watching grass grow. I bought a multi-year subscription but I’ve removed it from rotation due to woefully inadequate connection time and slow response time. I’ll give them a chance to cycle through a couple of updates then try it again.

Fantastic value, fantastic function
Genuinely does everything as advertised. A little pricey but well worth it as everything functions perfectly, and very good referral rates if you know anyone who might be interested.

It does what a VPN should do. Just some time HK doesn’t work and needs to change to other locations.
