A search by library would be very useful
The app is good but what is disappointing is that the search of a book cannot be made by library. At the moment you search for a book, you get a list of results, then most of the times that book is not in your library but you need to open each result to find out.

Crashing
Mostly doesn’t load and freezes when opening. When it does load I cannot renew a book - either hangs or asks me repeatedly if I want to renew - press ‘yes’ and goes round and round in circles, but doesn’t renew the item
Even app support doesn’t work
It’s always been clunky but now when I try to login I just get endless loading screens and when I hit the app support button that doesn’t work either! Come on guys, the library service should be an easy win for any council.
Great for simple usage
The app has been great for simple tasks like checking what books are due when, extending, paying overdue fees, placing reservations. Nothing too advanced, but good access to these basic tasks. It also allow for linking child account under the adult account
Linked accounts
The app keeps constantly removing my children’s linked accounts. At least once a week a child is missing. I’ve stopped bothering to add them again. The result of this is that it makes it much harder for me to renew their books and they’re constantly overdue. I’ve reported this so many times but it seems nobody can get to the bottom of it. It’s making borrowing books very difficult

Useful but…
Used to be excellent, but I now have to add my children’s cards what feels like almost every time I use the app as it seems to lose the link?
Useless
This app is no longer fit for purpose. I’ve been using it for years to renew my library books and have my daughter’s account linked. However, now every time I log on it has dropped her linked account, has logged me out, or repeatedly hangs then tells me the service is not available. Several times I have accrued fines because it appeared my books had renewed online but haven’t. Desperately needs an update.

Used to be good
Since this year the app keeps bumping my cards off the system. It has been very useful for placing reservations and renewing books for my children and although not easy to search for books in your area (filters are not great), in most instances I’ve been able to locate the book when visiting the correct library, saving me time.

Glitches
Keeps offloading my children’s accounts that are linked to mine
Needs work
Randomly deleted ‘linked accounts’ from my login, sometimes multiple times in the same day. It is extremely irritating to have to repeatedly add them back. Reinstalling app does not seem to correct this. Please fix this 😵💫
Terrible clunky app
Searching the catalogue requires library card barcode and pin. Totally unnecessary. Only needed to reserve not search. I think it’s useless.
Not user friendly
Written by librarians for librarians. Search limit to Surrey Libraries and the book is showing as available in Coggleshsall Essex. Am I supposed to drive from Guildford? Cheaper and quicker to buy the book. Reserve? Yes that’ll cost you £0.75. Might as well buy from a charity shop. Bizarre. Poor first experience

Not just Surrey
Can be useful to see your account, loans etc. However, I try to use it to search for books and instead of just Surrey, it shows me all sorts of other locations such as Colchester which is nowhere near Surrey - I am not going to travel there to get a book! If it’s a Surrey Library app, it should not be showing me libraries in Essex, London, Sussex.

Looks good but no way to get back out of a section
The front page looks promising but you click into a section and then there is no back button, so the only way out is to come out of the app and then hard close it on your Ipad so that you can get back to the front page. Poor design, I will not be using this and it may limit my library use which I did on the website and that was brilliant.

Very poor functionality
Does not accept my login details. Crashes constantly. Does not allow to renew loans.

Not Surrey!
Always been useful in the past, especially for renewals. But, now in searching for a book I am given a list of Essex libraries where I can find the book. This is an App for Surrey! I don’t want to go to Essex for my books! Also, now when you click on a book, you cannot get back to the home page without closing and relaunching the App. Dreadful functionality.

Used the app for years with few problems. Now latest update has cut me out.
