Solid no frills graph paper alternative
Been using this app as a digital graph paper alternative for nearly a year now and it’s been great!
A few requests:
- Ability to link Bluetooth laser measures (Leica disto etc) so when you take a measurement it will auto draw that line in the app with the correct measurement
- Ability to see the length of a diagonal line as I’m drawing it rather than just x y lengths
- Ability to dock the floating panels so they don’t move. Sometimes they move around when I unintentionally brush my hand over them when drawing

Don’t bother -tiresome conditions
This app is a total joke - not only do you have to sign up for the free app in the hope you will either forget to cancel after the month - you also have to register online then they upload your plans so it isn’t stand alone - painful
Would highly recommend!
I now use Surveyorpad for all my sketches and surveys, it is a fantastic alternative to pencil and paper. The ability to change the paper size is a brilliant feature and means I am always able sketch a whole property without using lots of sheets of paper.

I have been using this app for a few months now, it’s great, easy to use and works with your apple pen. I have not been waste as much paper and all round has help me to be more eco friendly with my survey’s. A++
Subscription Required even for trial - Don’t bother
You have to sign up for a monthly subscription even to use the trial. I hate when developers force you into a subscription. We should be able to test your product for no commitment.

Hi there thank you for your feedback however you are mistaken, Surveyorpad does come with a completely free 30 day trial, which allows access to 100% of features. Upon registration Surveyorpad does ask you to enter your Apple ID / payment info in order to confirm the billing details for after the free trial ends. There is no obligation to purchase Surveyorpad after the free trial ends and you can cancel the auto renewal of the subscription in your Apple ID, either immediately, or at least 24 hours before your free trial ends to ensure you don’t get charged. I have been using this app for all my surveys and it’s exactly what I want from a sketching app. The ability to import jpegs and sketch on them is a great feature, and to have all these professional tools in one place is exactly what we want from modern apps.
I find Surveyorpad smooth, sharp, and stable, with a lot of great features to make my sketches clean and modern in a digital world. The ability to Rotate, work out square footage, and take pictures with your iPad and import into the app to sketch on is a life saver in complicated situations. I enjoy tidying up my sketches after and emailing it in either jpeg or pdf, making my sketches last forever and having that piece of mind.
This app has made my job so much easier and user friendly, I have finally said goodbye to the old pen and paper, and I don’t look back.

Surveyorpad convert
I’ve recently started using the Surveyorpad app exclusively for all of my drawings, even large complex properties. I found the app to be considerably faster than drawing free hand and would expect this to get faster still with time and as the app is further enhanced. The app is really intuitive and easy to use...There’s no going back to pencil and paper for me.

Don’t bother!
Asks you to sign up to an expensive subscription before you can even try the app. Perhaps Apple should make developers be more honest upfront to save us wasting our time downloading apps that we delete again straight away!
