Sustain: Practice Spotter

Practice Spotter is an app that uses machine learning to detect when a musician is practicing, and provides feedback on their practice sessions. The app is designed to help musicians of all levels improve their practice habits and achieve their musical goals. Features - Watches for instrument presence (AI object detection). - Listens for instrument sound (AI sound classification). - Rewards practice points while the instrument is seen and heard. - Displays encouragements while you practice. - Logs your practice sessions. Usage 1. Position your phone or tablet such that the front camera captures your entire instrument and your entire upper body (head, arms, hands) in view. We recommend mounting your device on a tripod or to a music stand. No visual or audio data is uploaded from your device (see https://www.atomopolis.com/privacy_sustain.html). 2. In the Settings menu, select your instrument and practice session duration. 3. Close the menu and click the start button. 4. Progress is measured only while you actively practice. Future Features - Rewards for streaks (consecutive days practiced) and cumulative time practiced. - Additional spotter faces. - Leaderboards or leagues. - Practice quality feedback (intonation, tone quality).
