Love My Sutro Devices
I purchased a Sutro for the pool in May 23’ and couldn’t be more grateful that I did. There was some difficulty getting it up and running but I’ve since purchased a second one for the spa in August of 24’ and that was up and running in 15 minutes—hardware upgrades and user familiarity making the difference.
The countless trips and hours to the pool store for water testing are over as Sutro helps keep my water crystal clear with three reading a day. Love being able to check the app anytime to see what’s happening.
To me, the $29 monthly cartridge and monitoring fee in addition to the $350 device cost, are well worth the saved trips to my local pool store.
Sutro Customer Service (shoutout Dave!) has been great—always providing step by step instructions that solved any questions that I had.

Returning customer
Has Sutro in my old pool, moved and built a new pool. Lost the hub but just got a new one and back with it. Customer support was great and understanding. Got my new hub and a brand new set of batteries.
Amazing Customer Service
I’ve be using Sutro now for 2 years and love it. If I have ever had any issues they have been super helpful fixing it. I wish all customer services were as good as Sutro. The app is very easy to use and has made my pool experience simple.

App worries me
This is an expensive item to not have the app work. The save button on the manually added chemicals page doesn’t work. I can’t even use this without it. I’m going to have to return it if the app doesn’t work.
Exceptional Customer Care and Great Product
I recently purchased the Sutro monitor for my spa and began the setup today. Not being particularly tech savvy, I was experiencing difficulty in getting the app and phone settings, etc. correct to complete the process. I emailed customer care, asking a few questions and Jenna was quick to offer phone support. She called me promptly and was very helpful, kind and polite. Her directions were clear and easy to follow. She continued following me through the process until connectivity was obtained. What a relief! In addition, I asked Jenna a question regarding service that required a further answer from another team member. Within minutes I received a call from Jawad to address my question. Not only did he address that question, but during the course of that conversation he noticed my monitor was not sending a signal to the hub. With the same care as Jenna, he walked me through getting it quickly restored. Within a short time, my app was sending me test results in real time. I am impressed with a company that you can actually have a conversation and they care about helping you. Rare today! I am impressed with the app and monitor. Really cool system.

Huge win for Hot Tub!
We purchased our hot tub almost four years ago & I spent several months trying to get the chemistry right on my own, then trying another brand of monitoring (which had a lot of issues & bad customer support). I read about Sutro and its high quality device and gave it a try. I’m sure glad I did! The device is great, easy to change cartridges and extremely accurate (I continue to test manually every couple of months with my Taylor lab kit, just to be sure of my readings). Their customer support is fantastic- highly responsive and very helpful. I highly recommend this!

Great Way To Keep Your Pool In Tip Top Shape
Sutro has been my go-to for monitoring my pool water chemistry since the beginning. I’ve invested in their monitor and Pool device, and it’s been an excellent decision. I can confidently check my chemical levels three times a day, knowing that I’m getting accurate readings. Sutro’s device has been reliable and consistent, allowing me to stay on top of my pool’s chemistry without any worries. It’s been a huge relief, and I highly recommend their products. Makes pool care a lot easier
The monitor helps to keep the pool water in the correct ph range , chlorine, and alkalinity. The customer service is top notch. Every time I’ve had an issue with the monitor they always take care of me! The app has continued to get better and better also.

This has been a great product considering the X3 per day water test. Just like everything, nothing is perfect and at times there may be fluctuations in reading but the support and 2 way communication has been great! I would definitely recommend this product to any DIY pool care person.

I’m a new pool owner for almost a year now. I was given a lot of information from a lot of people that have pools and service pools the information I received was good. Just didn’t know how to put everything together after purchasing the Sutro. It all made sense. I would water test from Leslie‘s pools, just to make sure the Sutro works. It was spot on which help me service my pool Weekly myself I have never had a pool service with weekly maintenance. My pool has been very excellent condition. If you’re worried that your pool will go wrong purchasing this unit. I will assure you it will give you the confidence you need.

The Sutro App makes it easy to know that the chemicals in my pool are accurate. The app is easy to use and gives me all the details right in the palm of my hand.
Great pool app
We have used the Sutro app for several years now, for both our pool and hot tub, and we love it. Very helpful customer service if you do need to call in for anything. It’s a very easy app to follow and adjust your chlorine. And we love how accurate the readings are.

I rarely write reviews, but Sutro exceeded my expectations. As a long-time customer, they have made pool maintenance easy and cost-effective for me. I faced a syncing issue with the hub and charger, despite being near my WiFi. I contacted Sutro customer service through FB Messenger (my usual way of contacting them, fund it the easier way to communicate with them) and I also called their phone number listed on their site. I had to leave a message not realizing it was after work hours on a Friday evening, Jawad called back 15 minutes after I had left that message and helped solve my problem. This excellent customer service ensures I'll remain a loyal customer.

Solid app and product - much improved over the years
I’ve been a Sutro customer for over two years. I appreciate the updates the team has made to the reliability and functionality in the app over time, as well as the responsiveness of support when issues have come up. Very happy with the current iteration of the app and the performance of the testing. I spot-check against my Taylor test kit occasionally and Sutros readings are very accurate.
