Great for women too

I joined this after searching through many many many workout planners and plans. I always found women’s plans to focus on fat loss and “booty plans” which just irritated me. My partner introduced me to SW7 and I just love it. I’ve been doing it for 6 months and my body is the strongest and firmest it’s ever been. I am never going to be massive (I’m 42) but can see changes in my muscle definition and strength. I really can see improvement, which is all I ever wanted. love that they take you through strength cycles as well as muscle growth within the same plan. It’s thoughtful, quality and does what it says without faff. Don’t be afraid to do the men’s plans if you’re a woman! Only development point I would add is to be able to add your own notes to your history. The timer issue is fixed now. Great app!

Gotta have it

Incredible programming, love the strength work and feeling the most powerful I’ve ever been!

App could be better

The workouts themselves seem great, but since purchasing a plan, my app has become buggy, pauses timers when app is minimised, and buffers between sets.

The app could be smoother, for example letting you input your weight figures the set without automatically skipping the rest and going into the next set. Once the timer is done for rest it could automatically go into the next set, which limits time on the phone between sets etc.

Overall a little disappointed with the app and will probably switch to something else once this month is up.

New change on the app

When I logged on the app today, there was a change in the layout, I think it’s a lot more confusing and not as good as the other layout

Great Programs

Loved this App! Great insight to how I should be training, unfortunately it is out of my price range for continued subscription.
Would be very interested in downloadable routines offered for a one off payment.
Best of luck to the SW7 team.

Abysmal App

This app is just terrible. It’s slow , buggy and if you’ve got poor WiFi in the gym you have no chance to view and save your progress. I’ve had to delete and reinstall so many times it’s a joke.
For £25 a month membership you expect an app you can use effortlessly without crashing every 5 minutes…. Look at the Gym shark app in comparison and it’s like chalk and cheese… plus Gym Shark is free!!!!

No problems so far!

Very easy to use UI, no problems so far..

Meant for athletes? More like powerlifting.

Strength and hypertrophy work is fine, but theres zero structured speed or conditioning work.

Good routines let down by app and guidance

The routines are good and enjoyable. However the app is so slow, too many vids slows load times, there should be a cutback version where I can go to vid if I want to refresh my memory. The outline of the programming needs to be clear on what the reps mean for newbies this is intimidating. 20 reps on sled, what does this mean!! Then the order is weird I want to record my weights after I finish but I need to rest and then record, also if you click off the app the timer stops. Really needs some work.
