Favorite App
I’ve been using Swarm for 15 years (before it split off from FourSquare). Being able to look back at where I’ve been is invaluable. I love the simplicity of the app (it’s not trying to do too much), and I love the visualization when zoom out and look at the map. I use it as a reference to give advice on restaurants, bars, etc. I never leave app reviews, but this one is a special one. And I love that it still ties in with FourSquare to give recommendations.

I really love Swarm and have been using it with friends since the early days! It’s such a fun way to catalog places I’ve been and to be able to go back when I’m like…where did we go that one time? I do miss new stickers and travel challenges, wish that would make a comeback!

Not on their website but apparently they have a 18 or over alcohol policy. A favourite country pub but disappointing we can’t raise a glass with our son to celebrate this milestone when its UK law allows.

I’ve been using this app since it first came out as FourSquare. I love it, but taking the option of tagging it to social media, especially FB, is pretty annoying and dumb. Please return that option asap!

Love this app and all of the little delightful moments. I use it as a diary almost. It’s a great way to reference places you’ve been for recommendations and memories!
Loving this app for 12+ years and counting
Most importantly, it encourages me to explore new places and creates a journal of my past experiences that I use all the time. The improvements over the past year or so have been awesome. Grateful to the team working on it now.
Earning points
I’ve been a loyal user since the four square days. My question/reason for the 3 stars is: what the hell do we do with our points?
Check ins (Mayorships) not counting
Holding a mayorship for years and check in every day. It says I’m still the mayor but it will not hold the consecutive days I HAVE checked in. It might only give me credit in a Monday. One day in 7, telling me I am the mayor with 5 or 7 or 10 check-ins but it should be 30.
