Decent not great
This GPS has a hard time figuring out your precise location when you are stopped at a light near a turn. It goes crazy back and forth thinking you’ve already turned when you are still at the same spot and have not moved.

3D maps stopped working
I have the premium+ but the 3D maps not available in CarPlay any more I canceled auto renewals due next week. Tried everything shows only 2d maps not what I paid for there should be a refund.
Trash Sales Tactic
Paid for the premium plus sub but get upsell popovers when opening the app for products I don’t want or need when opening the app. Slimy way to do business.

Updated review
The main map error I’d had issues with has been fixed. It might well of been done sooner by the map supplier but I don’t get the monthly updates. Hopefully I will be able to give 5 stars in the next few weeks once I’ve had chance to try & replicate the other errors/ issues I’d reported. Sadly I’ve had to lower the star rating already as I know of a local road closure that’s been in place for a few weeks yet Sygic isn’t aware of it. It’d be a really nice addition if you could click on a Road & mark it as closed or accident etc from the app without actually having to TRY & drive down it as that’s the only option I can find of reporting it without going through the help system which in all honesty is such a long way found it IMO. Sadly I will still only be using it for the foreseeable future as an alert app for speeding, tight bends etc.

J’utilise Sygic lors de chaque voyage en VR même si je connais le chemin. J’aime voir la vitesse réelle, l’altitude, le prochain virage, l’annonce des embouteillages, etc.

Great app, but a huge battery drain
Updated: i had to delete from my phone. I was looking for something to replace Google Maps and I really love this app. But the battery usage on my new iPhone was too much. After three hours of having my phone on and not once using Sygic, my battery had declined to 60% with the drain almost entirely coming from the app. I don’t understand how this could happen after turning everything on the app off.

Navigation Problem
I love the app but since the latest upgrade I seem to have a navigation problem in CarPlay. The 3D navigation works only when a destination is loaded and it is giving directions. All the settings are on 3D but the map shows up as 2D. I have deleted the app, reloaded etc and it does it continually. It has only been an issue the past two days, which I note coincides with the last upgrade.

You shove your full page ad up yours
I am a paying customer. And you keep pushing products I would never ever pay for everytime I open the app. Tell the person responsible for this idea to shove it up his.
Very useful offline
I've used Sygic both at home and abroad.
Provided you download the map you need before travelling, it works fine without needing a phone signal or running up Roaming charges.
Only drawback - the menus are quite clunky to use, and online instructions for iPhone are largely incorrect.

Bait and Switch/ Scammers
Every update they bait and switch you. I’ve paid for Premium features that have now mysteriously became “Premium+” features. I’m an original grandfathered user. I’m beyond disappointed. I’ve lost all trust in this company and will immediately stop my personal and business support. I understand continuous market presence but this is fraud/ Scam

Wrong speed limit in North America using Camper Add on
Do not purchase this add-on. When using the Camper profile, all speed limits above 80 km/h are incorrectly displayed as 80 km/h, including 90, 100 and 110 km/h.
This is a nationwide issue, at least in Canada.
I have reported this to Sygic Customer Care, but their Head of Customer Care, Rudolf Wuscher, refuses to escalate the issue without GPS coordinates for individual locations. I could provide him with billions of locations, because the problem occurs everywhere in Canada where the speed limit exceeds 80 km/h.
This is clearly a systematic software issue, not an isolated map error.
Unfortunately, Customer Care appears unable or unwilling to understand the nature of the problem or have it investigated by their technical team.
My next step will be to file a formal complaint with Apple regarding this in-app purchase and the fact that the paid Camper functionality does not work as advertised.

Not fit for purpose
This always showing a longer route to work compared to Apple Maps & Google maps, 8 miles difference, obviously I’ll choose a shorter.

Appalling bad app, use others
After reading all the hype and great reviews I though t I would bite the bullet. I should have stuck with google maps. This app does not like you diverting off your planned route and will not re-route you. It is not better than any other free app, so save your money.
Update- I have tried to use as paid the subscription fee, but the app is useless. The routes it takes you are worse than Google maps, it doesn’t find places others do unless you have a post code. Basically this app should be removed from the UK App Store it’s that bad, and if I could get a refund I would, but then you can’t get blood out of a stone!

Making money on the same features-Twice
I had paid $80 as a one time charge for premium access of Sygic few years back. I am now again offered to pay $89 for the same premium access - how can you charge the same customer twice for the same premium features (for example, regular map updates and not twice a year, live traffic which was part of the lifetime back in 2018 and now you have to pay for it)? Get your pricing strategy right - do not take premium access away after user has paid for it once.
For all those who intend on buying premium - pls reconsider as you will be asked to pay for it again after a few years quoting newer and better features (where in reality it’s the same like CarPlay, maps update etc.).

Happy long-time user
What keeps me using Sygic is the offline maps and being able to navigate with no signal or with a poor signal. The other major navigation apps either require you to be online, or their offline capability doesn’t work reliably when the signal is weak.
