Confusing at best
It’s been and still is a confusing ordeal. The device itself is nice. The online version (laptop) has a LOT of apps. Appears to have a lot of options that can be performed. The reason for the one star is there is little to NO instructions on how to use all the options. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but this is overwhelming. I don’t even know if the device has backed-up my laptop which is why I bought the NAS.

No dedicated music player
The drive app is great for file management no doubt but Synology really needs to make a dedicated music player app with playlists creation features, next track, etc which it seriously lacks. Something that can also integrate the music app with Apply Car play/Android Auto. I usually don’t give 3 star ratings but I seriously think there needs to be some room for improvement here.

Pas possible de switcher facilement de compte, ni de mettre en pause une tache de téléchargement facilement : une interface utilisateur calamiteuse, pensée par des ingénieurs qui ignorent ce que l’utilisateur « normal » attend, à savoir des fonctionnalités simples et accessibles et pas des commandes planquées dans les recoins avec des intitulés cryptiques. Pensez à des thèmes « basic », « advanced » et « developpeur », et pas qu’à ce dernier thème

Nicht zu gebrauchen…
Ich nutze die App auf Windows, Linux und auf dem iPhone. Auf dem iPhone werden zwar die meisten Ordner vom Synchronisieren angezeigt, aber oft keine Inhalte, auch das herunterladen neuer Ordner klappt nicht. Eigentlich schade, selbst beim erneuten mehrfachen anklicken der Synchronisation bekommt man es nicht hin, sehr schade eigentlich. Ich nutze aktuell iOS 26 in der Beta

Sync doesn’t work
Trying to sync my folders from NAS but it doesn’t complete the sync. I only have 5000 files but app doesn’t complete the sync, tried focused mode as well. Hope it is rectified soon.
Player problems
The audio file player lacks the step forward and backward buttons. Please add a full featured audio player.

使い勝手に不満はないが、ファイルアクセスした履歴が残ってしまう。ユーザーの操作で任意に、あるいは一括でアクセスログを消せる仕組みを作ってほしい。
Quickconnect経由だと遅い
音楽は聴けてもビットレート高めの動画は無理、みたいなところがある。最低限のファイルマネージャーとしての機能はちゃんとあるので、使いやすい。
