Ignore the bad reviews
This is not a “scam.” If you have the SYW credit card and your points are not syncing, all you have to do is contact customer service and they’ll fix it for you. I don’t know why no one here has bothered to do that. That being said, the app could definitely use some work. The UI/UX is not great and I haven’t done anything other than redeem my credit card points because everything else seems too overwhelming/confusing. I also don’t understand why there are two separate apps that seem to be the same thing, but this one is newer so I guess this is the one to use?

Scam
Just like others have said, there is no way to redeem the points. On my paper statement it shows I have over 100K points. Only way to redeem is through the app. The app says I do not have any points. There is a tab to link credit card but it takes you right back to home page. No matter how many times I have deleted the app thinking the newer version will load, same thing happens. Even trying to access account through web, it brings you back to app. Very frustrating

Warning Do not sign up
The deals are masked with a 1$ to 1000 point redemption rate. That is bad enough. I tried to delete my account. It seems this app will only delete your info if you are a resident of CA or VA. Do not sign up unless you never want to leave.
This is a Scam
I have around 30,000 point in the main website of Citibank but each time I am trying to claim those points into gift cards they always force me to download this App.
I created and account linked my credit card an I do not see any point on my account.
Also I use my credit card everyday on the grocery store, buy gas, 7-11 but apparently nothing appears on my history purchase.

Probably scam
I have 33,700 points supposedly on the website of (citiretailservices.citibankonline) but when I try to redeem those points send me to this app automatically.
I sign up follow the instructions link my SYW card and I do not see any point.
Also is too curious that Shop Your Way has two apps instead of one.
Why is the reason that they have two?
Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase etc etc… only have one app and why CitiBank does not recognize this card SYW?
I hope the developers and also Apple Store can answer this review.

Garbage
I am forced to use the app to ‘link my card’ to my account and the app won’t let me add a card because it keeps crashing. What’s the deal?

Great gas cash back
5% on gas - speechless. Cool app as well and 3% on dining and groceries. If this had crypto rewards it would be the best card on the market IMHO
App & “point” system 👎
This app really stinks. IF you are lucky enough for your points to transfer over to the app from the SYW CitiBank account website without having to send a complaint email, (I was not that lucky) then you “might” be able to redeem them. (Don’t expect any pics of products on the app either.)
They will likely expire all your points expire before you ever get all that sorted out. That was my experience. I’ve spent $5000+ on my SYW card, pay on time every month, then this ridiculous point system just up and evaporates. Why even advertise points if the company can’t get their apps to work properly for their customers to redeem them?
I do have to say a nice lady named Robyn got it all sorted out, but since all my points are expired, I am left with $33 in points. Maybe I can buy some socks? But I’ll have to assume it’s like a “grab bag” since there are no pics on over half the products on the app. Robyn, you were very nice and I do thank you for your help but the company itself, not so much. Beware folks.

Terrible change
I used to get Points for every Uber and Uber eats purchase but now it’s for new users only! Why the Sudden change? I really see no use to this now!

Great Product and Program + Massive Potential
I was pleased with a safe and seamless two factor authentication login to the app (done in seconds). Easy access to many brands I currently purchase from (and many more I will now) but I now earn free rewards back from doing the same things I’ve been doing. There are so many ways to save more money, time and earn more rewards that I redeem for gift cards on what I want.
They even offer 5% back on gas purchases which couldn’t be better timed to fight all this inflation!
Nice to see a business that gives their users more in tough times and I am excited because I’ve noticed they’re always adding new improvements and ways to get more.

Worthless and huge waste of time trying to get it to work . . . . And they know it!!
Still seeing error message
Wow! Think developers would have seen all the reviews about having issues with logging into the app. It’s April 2022 and the reviews show issues with logging in back in December. They don’t seem too concerned with providing a good customer experience.

I’ve got the same thing as seems like almost every other review, account doesn’t work even though I can login on the web browser. Definitely needs more work before this thing went live.
