What's New in T30 Recovery Journal

2.9.6

September 5, 2026

What’s new in T30 Journal Healing after betrayal asks different things of each person. One person may be rebuilding trust through responsibility, follow-through, and repeated action. The other may be making sense of what happened, setting boundaries, and deciding what they need next. This update helps both sides do that work in their own journals and connect through the records they choose to share. Ascension Experience makes everyday follow-through easier to return to. Home updates as soon as a check-in is saved, date controls let you review earlier days, and Circle Check-Ins retain same-day choices and show completed periods more clearly. Premium members can also record a check-in with Siri. Anchored Experience now brings My Anchors, the Self-Awareness Journal, boundary records, Trigger Log intensity and sharing, expanded Insights, and a new Deep Journal topic browser into one path. These tools support reflection and boundary work without turning a person’s private writing into proof about their partner or relationship. Connect is where the two paths can meet. Shared Items brings supported check-ins, journal entries, Safety Center records, and Location Drops into one feed. Each person can see who shared an item and choose whether it goes to a primary partner or another connection. Finding recovery resources shouldn’t mean navigating unpredictable recommendations that may include triggering content. The new curated Podcast Library brings selected recovery shows into T30, with subscriptions, playlists, Up Next, resume playback, and offline downloads. The Professional Directory remains available when someone wants qualified support. This release also improves Apple Health permission prompts, Premium access while offline, launch time, performance with long histories, background work, and journal sync reliability—so the app can stay out of the way while each person focuses on the work ahead.

Great tool to foster healing

This app is a meaningful tool to help me feel safe while rebuilding trust during my husband’s recovery. I’m thankful for many of the functions especially the check-ins. The value is much greater than I was expecting.

Response from developer

Hello, and thank you for the review. We are very grateful that you and your husband are using the app and that is helping you feel safe. We are glad to hear that the check-in features are of use to you, and hope that the additional features that are being released will be of value, as well. Thank you for taking the time to provide a review, we really appreciate it!

So far, so good

I’ve been in recovery for a little under 4 years and I wish I had this from the very beginning. While I don’t use the location drop feature much (I would have in the first 18 months probably daily), the chat feature for me and wife is critical so our kids don’t get pulled into our conversations which…are not always great. The circles have been so helpful too. It’s a pretty good deal for $100 for the whole year when it’s helped me process hard things and not relapse already a few times

Response from developer

Hello, thank you for this review! We are so pleased to hear that you are having success with the app even so far past the initial disclosure period. We hear that all the time, but thank you for taking the time to post that, and for giving us an opportunity to help you build trust with your wife. We like the chat feature, also!

Incredible tool

In my attempt not to sound dramatic, this app has been life changing. There has been a noticeable shift in our relationship since my husband has been doing regular checkins using the T30 app. The regular check-ins have provided emotional insight that can be difficult to communicate throughout the day and to verbalize, or even realize. I also like that it’s private and offers more than a text check-in. It seems so simple but it’s so incredibly helpful and covers a lot. Truly, thank you for making this. It really is something incredible and so helpful.

Response from developer

Hello, and thank you so much for taking the time to respond and provide a review. We are so glad that the private features have allowed for better communication and insight into what is going on, and that the consistency is starting to help the relationship. We appreciate the review; thank you!

Helpful, but not reliable

The app is great in covering so many aspects of recovery, but I keep losing journal entries because they don’t automatically save drafts, or if you change the cadence of your check-in’s, they disappear. I’ve also lost some long form journals and still don’t know why.B

Response from developer

Hello, and thank you for reporting this. We are so sorry you experienced this as you have trusted us with a major part of your recovery. Please know we have addressed the issue. Version 2.9.3 included a major encryption update, but an error caused some records to disappear from the app. We released an emergency fix, and your records should now be restored. Because your records are encrypted, we cannot read them on our servers. However, we have verified that the data was not lost. If anything is still missing, please email us at info@t30journal.com so we can help restore it to your device. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and allowing us to make this right.

Core to my recovery

This app is absolutely core to my recovery. I can use the data in check-ins (or lack there of) to realize when I’m at risk of a relapse. It truly helps me show up the way I want to.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing this. Knowing that the check-in patterns help you recognize when you may be at risk and make choices that support your recovery means a great deal to us. We’re grateful T30 helps you show up the way you want to.
