the best receipt splitter
figured I should give it a real review since I’ve been using this for years now, truly my favorite functional app, makes splitting the check a breeze and I recommend it to all my friends! simple & easy to use 🫶🏼
No Venmo Integration and can’t handle large bills
I can’t figure out for the life of me how to setup the Venmo integration that is referenced in the description and FAQ.
Also can’t handle large checks. Had my group of 10 head out to a nice dinner and the Reciept scanning/OCR wouldn’t capture everything on the Reciept after several tries. It would just stop capturing items. This is my primary complaint as this is what I use this app for: Big friend dinners where splitting the check is a pain.

Best App, and I am a regular person (not a Bot)
They did a good job with this app, simple, free, easy to manage in a large group

There’s a little bit of a learning curve associated with first using it, and sometimes it doesn’t pick up the bill details perfectly so you definitely have to review it, but it makes a group outing so much easier!

Love this app only complaint is the enter tip manually link is un clickable on my iPhone 17 pro as it’s behind the swipe bar that appears at the bottom of screen. Hopefully a fix can be made for this.

I don’t usually leave app reviews, but this makes splitting bills so much easier and eliminates the awkwardness of figuring out who owes what. I will use this all the time great app!!!

Love this app for splitting bills! It’s so easy to use. You can either download a picture of your bill or manually submit. Saves the headache of splitting the bill when dining with a small or large group. It even has a birthday option, so you can split the birthday person’s order between the entire group. A+

This app made things so much easier, if for some reason, it reads the receipt wrong, you can edit it with ease. It was very user friendly! Loved it.

Annoying
I originally downloaded this a while ago but I forgot why I deleted it. Oh yeah redownloading it today gave me the refresher because if it’s a file of a receipt you can’t upload it and no matter how clear a screenshot is somehow it’s still blurry. Why tf would I download a receipt splitting app to hand split a 72 item receipt when I’m trying single screenshot by single screenshot of a perfectly clear file and nope it’s blurry. HOW ITS CLEAR ASF IT CANT GET ANY CLEARER

Very nice app! So convenient when having to split checks. A toggle option to view the picture of the receipt while making edits would be nice.
Used to be good, much better options available these days
For many years, this was my go to app to split the dinner bill. It wasn’t always perfect, but it was the best available at the time. It’s pretty frustrating when it gets it wrong though, because when you’re at dinner with a large group of friends…trying to figure it out, there’s a lot of pressure and it just gets confusing not knowing which price it got wrong.
Thankfully, tech has improved, and now I can’t live without “fairShare - split the bill”. It has all the bells and whistles and features you could want while still keeping the UI simple and clean. Best part is it’s always accurate and all my friends can pick their own items without downloading the app or needing a login. Easy Peezy.

Almost perfect
This app would be perfect if each user splitting the bill had a different color assigned. That way it would be easier to track which line items have been assigned to each user. For share items the line could have multiple colors.
