Doesn’t updated, constantly not working with issues
Terrible
This app is hard to navigate on the phone. I can’t go between reports without it kicking me back out to the home page.
Zoom in on mobile
New update has all date charts zoomed in on desktop view and does not allow to zoom out..
Too many security signs
Once a day sign in would be adequate.. repetitive password requests are overkill and time consuming.
Unusable On IPhone
I have used tableau for years as a Tesco user and the functionality is pretty poor. You just can’t access all functions on IPhone which is a shame because the data that is available has to be gotten off a laptop or a Tesco pc for its full reports and data analytics. This means you have to be office based to get the information. Which in this day and age useless to people who want information on the go!

Servers are always down. Never loads.
Slow to load data
When logging onto Tableau it is very slow to load the data. Also, when changing the search parameters, it takes a long time to load the new data.
Doesn’t let you Download.
It doesn’t let you download pdf anymore. Please fix!

iPad
The mouse on an iPad Magic Keyboard will not work on your mobile app or in a browser. Very frustrating
Missing Features for Pro Users
This app is artificially hobbled for mobile. If you’re using this on an iPad with a keyboard and mouse you cannot use the mouse to interact with reports. You must touch the screen. Additionally you can not create or edit reports in this app and are required to do so through a desktop computer. The iPad Safari is no less cable than desktop safari so this is an artificial limit that serves no valid purpose.

Stopped working
Just updated the app 2 days ago thinking it may fix some issues I was experiencing. Now app does not work at all. Does not even launch. 😕
Too slow to be considered as a view on the go tool
Too slow to refresh and download info. Even in wifi. I was considering this app in my phone obviously to have a quick view on the go. But doesn’t worth it
Expectations not met
It is expected that technology will go down or have errors. Unfortunately, Tableau has an unprecedented frequency of down days or refreshing data being incomplete. I hope this will be corrected in the future.

Panning and accidentally swiping back to main screen
Hopefully the app gets ongoing work to it. It is an iOS HIG feature but I’m not sure if it’s mandatory: swiping to the right from The left edge of the screen causing you to effectively ‘press the back button’ and going out of a dashboard and back into the Home tab. Seeing as there’s a back button angle bracket icon at the top left, maybe the swipe feature can be deactivated? Seems it’s all too easy to spend a while setting up a dashboard and browsing, then you lose all that set up when you try and pan across a table or viz, and you lose it all as it goes to the home page and home tab.
