Chineasy and Talk Chineasy are the best Chinese apps ever! I love both.

Learning fast and quickly other Chinese apps teach me things I don’t need to know, but this app starts with the import stuff such as thank you and no problem other apps use things you wouldn’t say every day
Helpful app, remove the AI videos!
The app is helpful, but once i realized the videos were AI, i deleted it. Please fix the videos/remove features made using Generative AI. Will redownload once these issues are fixed! 🫰
Microphone struggles to work
The app is unfortunately laggy and the microphone struggles to pick up my words :(
Glitch maybe?
When you open the app and it starts giving you the tonal lesson and it says to repeat after him and say mā it doesn’t accept anything I say whether I say it right or even if my Chinese friend says it into the mic I think it may be a glitch but I don’t know.

But some features don’t work very well, but the concepts behind the app are amazing.

AI Generated Videos or weird processing artifacts, sadly not not lipsynced correctly.

The concept of the app is great. I really like the design and feel of it. Unfortunately it’s impossible for me to achieve any kind of progress. Whenever I’m asked to record my own speech nothing happens. Had to uninstall after just 5 minutes. The other ‘Chineasy’ app works great though so I am disappointed in this one.

voice not registering ?
I’m excited about the app/interface, but i can’t progress in talk chineasy because i (native English speaker) can’t seem to pronounce the word “hi” correctly, which is like lesson 2 🥲; is there a way around this bug or am i really that bad at saying hi?
Record feature does not work at all
I really want to use the app to practice what I learn from Chineasy app. However the record feature doesnt work and kept failing to grade my voice because of that.

I love the original Chineasy app have have subscribed. I was hopefully for this one but just doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t recognise the pronunciation of the first word mā so I can’t use the app at all. I thought it was me being bad at it but I asked a native Chinese speaking friend to try it but it didn’t work for her either so seems like a bug. Please fix it! I’m looking forward to using the app.

Major bugs
This app used to work ok and now it’s totally unusable. It doesn’t recognize my voice so I can’t progress in any lessons. I bought a lifetime subscription and now can’t use the app. I’ve written the company requesting a refund.
Unusable
The video and audio content no longer loads, making the app basically unusable
The app is broken 😭
I really wanted to love this but nothing works in this app. The videos never loading and the sound to hear the words doesn’t even work. I’ve deleted and redownloaded it several times and it still is not functioning. I tried to message the app support but it just says the page cannot be found. So frustrating. It’s a really great idea. It just doesn’t work.

I think it’s a good app as it focuses on speaking, which other apps have less emphasis and my understanding and experience of trying to speak was lacking compared to my knowledge of Hanzi.
