They disabled my account and ripped me $250 without people access my account

I cannot recommend Talkatone based on my experience.
The service stopped working while I still had an active paid subscription. My Talkatone phone number had been listed on months of job applications and resumes, so when the service failed, I lost access to the number prospective employers had for me. I also received at least one call that I could not access, along with my voicemail.
I contacted Talkatone support, but I never received a response or a resolution. Instead, the subscription renewed the very next day, and I was charged again for a service that was already unusable.
I then had to spend additional time pursuing a refund through Apple because Talkatone never addressed the underlying problem.
This wasn’t just an inconvenience. It potentially affected my job search.
If you are considering using Talkatone as your primary phone number for anything important—especially employment, medical appointments, or other time-sensitive communications—understand that if something goes wrong, you may find yourself without a working phone number and without timely support.
For me, the service failed when I needed it most, and the lack of customer support was just as disappointing as the outage itself.
I guess it's cheap for reason, but when you are unemployed and looking for work, cheapest what you need. But you also need some reliability and accountability and this service fails on both counts.

Talkatone is a very good app for making calls
Bug
It’s good but there’s a bug where if your a free user and there’s a call me option on whatever app or website ruling a Talkatone phone number, it actually goes through without needing a subscription. Please fix this bug
