It doesn’t open or create an account for me it always tells me there is an issue with my device and I should reinstall the app I do and it still doesn’t work for me

Works, bare mim. Freemium used to feel good but it ‘just works’ now.

Rings, but won't let me answer. Texts, but I can't reply...
With my VPN on, the App rings with calls, but won't let me answer. Then I have to shut off my VPN, restart the app, then call the person back.
Just now, with my VPN OFF, I got a text to confirm a doctor's appointment. If I don't confirm, I lose the appointment...
Tried restarting the app and confirming the text 4 times, and it just won't let me FOR NO REASON (and that's with me paying the subscription).
Also, all that no VPN nonsense is a scam to make us pay for a MORE EXPENSIVE SUBSCRIPTION, that supposedly works with VPNs...
All in all pretty useless.

Great app but...
One first SMS, few words for testing. and I get this warning "Exceeded Fair Use Limits". In the following days 3-4 messages, the same warning and then I am blocked. Time consuming to set up but no more time to lose with this. Got a message from the developer: << Hello. Please note that Talkatone does not offer unlimited out-of-network texting and calling. Kindly review the FAQ about fair use limits. Thank you.>> Please define "unlimited" or what is "limited". My first SMS was only a few words...let me repeat that....A FEW WORDS...and I received a warning followed by being blocked after a few SMS (around 3-4) with each time A FEW WORDS spread over 3 days or so. Does this constitute an Unlimited usage?

Perfect
I’ve been using TalkaTone since around 2016. It is perfect for using when you don’t want to give out your regular service phone number. It keeps you private. Also receives texts flawlessly with no hassles. I recommended it to a couple of ppl who were on hard times and couldn’t afford to keep their regular service active. So instead of dropping off the grid, they used TalkATone. As long as your receiving a wifi signal, you can text make and receive calls and texts. There are ads but not annoyingly enough to make it a deal breaker. You can pay for premium and get more of a regular phone. But if your sown and out or need privacy this is the best phone app to use! I am a human not a bot nor have I been asked to put any type of review paid or unpaid. I’m a real long term user.

I’ve been using this app for YEARS,… (literally..) and todayyyy it decided to give me the spinning wheel of death! 😒🥲 Updated it = didn’t work, Deleted & redownloaded the app = still doesn’t work,… Deleted, redownloaded & Reinstalled AGAIN… = STILLLLLL nothing! All my numbers, messages, photos, job applications… GONE 😪

I have premium and have not been able to send a message for 2 days because it’s saying “message failure”. Nothing is different from having regular TalkATone. I have emailed support and have gotten no response. Don’t waste your time getting this app.
