Use this app when I am listening to new music and figuring what dance would work for it. Pop it up and in a few measures have the BPM. Slick!

It’s simple to use. Sometimes it’ll seem like the beats per minute gets off to an incorrect start. I simply click the restart button. No big deal. I love this app!

Don’t do anything else but what it’s supposed to do with accuracy.
Doesn’t work
Try tapping a few beats out. App is worthless. Not worthy of a download. PLEASE seek other apps, what a joke. I tapped out the same song and it’s readings are 104-6x. I can do better math in my head, over it and this review.

RPM measurement
I use this in the machine shop to determine spindle revolutions per minute on the older manual machines. Works good until I get on the vertical lathes with a 7 foot table. The maximum rpm is less than 15, and that’s when I need to know to the tenth of a revolution. Big difference in surface feet per minute on large diameters for speeds between 1 RPM and 2 RPM. At these speeds I use various spots around the perimeter of the table (T slots for the 4 jaws) and divide the results accordingly.
