Full Screen Timecode Missing
Great companion app to my FR-AV2.. but needs a simple addition of a full screen, clapboard style timecode screen to run the timecode in front of a camera like a digital slate. It has an area for scene, take, etc.. why not just finish the job.
Do not buy this recorder if you need to monitor the audio.
This has to be one of the most spectacular money grabs I’ve seen in a long while. Tascam requires you purchase an optional module to add WIRELESS Bluetooth capabilities to the recorder but does not support WIRELESS audio monitoring! You can only see a waveform on the app. The entire thing is half baked and completely useless.

The UI needs work and the connection sometimes drops requiring restart. Also as others have mentioned, should support monitoring from the app.
One Star - can’t hear audio
The whole reason to have this app is to be able to hear the audio from the Tascam. Yeah, you can see the waveform but that’s pointless. If you can’t hear what’s going on, why would you have this app without the ability to hear the audio?
Pointless without audio monitoring
Pointless without audio monitoring. Everything about the DR10L Pro implied it was designed to be monitored over Bluetooth. That’s why I bought this lav and the Bluetooth adapter. Why would I want to just view my waveform? And why would anyone monitor a lav wired? This is so bizarre.
