What's New in Task Timeline Gantt

Quick Add gets a full task-management view. Tapping Task+ now opens a Quick Add menu — a plain-list view of tasks (no formatting) built for fast structural edits: drag a task vertically to reorder it, use the arrow icons to indent/outdent (creating summary tasks), and drag a connector between any two tasks' link icons to set up dependencies. Pressing Enter after saving a task auto-opens a new row beneath it for rapid entry. Timeline view gets the same structural controls. Selecting a task row now shows indent/outdent arrows directly in the Timeline view. Long-pressing a task bar until a dot appears lets you drag out a connector line to link it to another task, matching the Quick Add linking gesture. "Tasks" grouping renamed to "None." Same behavior (tasks still sort by start date) — renamed for clarity since it's not really a grouping. Summary tasks are intentionally unlinkable and hidden from Kanban/Calendar. Since summary tasks are derived from their subtasks, they can't be directly linked, and they don't appear in Kanban or Calendar views. This is by design — task management should happen at the individual task level, not the summary level. New summary-task display option in Manage view. Choose between the standard bracket appearance or a new style showing aggregate % complete across a summary task's subtasks. XML export added as a new export format option.
