I paid for a subscription and it never applied.
As the title suggests, I paid for a $20 monthly subscription. This was never applied to my account. There were no Help options on the app or online. I have reported it to Apple. They need to do better.
AI slopfest
they took a smooth and pretty task management app and turned it into an unusable AI workshop where you have to “build apps” to regain a modicum of its previous base functionality. abysmal decision making on the developer’s part. AI usage is unfortunately a given in productivity apps in 2026, but there were ways to integrate AI/LLMs without completely ostracizing their existing user base.

Bait and Switch. No direction. Scam of an app.
I was an early supporter of this app and have watched it devolve from Task Management to absolute AI slop with no direction. The founder of this app has no clear roadmap of where this product is going. Even though I had a lifetime deal they broke their own terms and now they’re forcing us to buy AI credits just to use the damn app we already paid hundreds for. If you were building with Taskade, these greedy corporate people just broke your project so they can make an extra dollar. AND they just raised the price of credits as an extra slap in the face. This is how you reward your earliest supporters? What a joke. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Price hikes and unresponsive customer service
My subscription fee was doubled between January 2026 and February 2026 with no notification. I reached out three times to ask about it, twice through their contact form and once through Facebook, and I got no response. I’ve only used this app casually but had really enjoyed it for task management and generally storing lists and information. I’m very disappointed in the whole situation.

The intrusive and uninstallable AI features that came with the new update completely disable the app. The OG taskade was a huge blessing in organizing my life, and I tried to work around the AI for ages, but it’s just too distracting and annoying. It constantly pops up when you’re trying to click something else, redirects you to confusing separate internal AI systems, and generally interferes with the most basic usage of Taskade. Sad to have to delete the app and find an alternative :( I will miss u Old Taskade & I hope you’ll come back into my life one day without this hyperaggressive Clippy

After research, Taskade looked very interesting and exactly what I needed.

after attempting to use, I saw you have one workflow in the free dashboard with more dashboard when paid. Fair enough. But I couldn’t even get the 1 dashboard to work! I can’t add any information, create a project, the only option is to add a prompt which then tells me to pay. I would have needed to upgrade eventually but I want to see the software which is what it says…
I even used Chat GPT to try to help me navigate just STARTING the software, and it struggled longer then I’ve ever seen it. After like 25 min it finally just said “this is ridiculous let’s move to clickup” which was my determined alternative.
If navigating literally STARTING to use this is that complicated, I have 0 faith in how it actually operates. I guess we will never know because I can’t even get that far. From recent reviews, it looks like I’m not alone!

Update ruined app
This used to be my go to app for sharing lists with my partner and this latest update has rendered it almost unusable for that purpose. Looks like I’ll be using a different app or a google doc. Sad to see this turned to AI slop.
Great App but slow
I am taskade user since 3 year. Latest features addition made the overall experience slow and clumsy. App opening takes too much time. Launch screen should show my projects list, not a big box to write and start new projects. People dont make new projects/apps everyday. They came to taskade to update existing ones.

Latest update killed it completely
This app used to be my go to for everything. I was able to organize agents for each business like (content writer, legal advisor, tech support, project manager) basically limitless virtual advisors.
Now, the workflow I once had has drastically changed. I have to navigate a laggy app to find my agents. I understand it now, but the workflow isn’t as efficient as it once was.
This used to be the holy grail, even with the outdated ai models. Sometimes simplicity is key, Now I use gemini pro.

Useless
I use to have it when it was a productivity app and now that’s the hardest part of the platform to use/navigate to. Plus the changed what you can do per payment tier. Instant delete.
Disappointed with latest update
I’ve been using this app for over 5 years now but the latest update with all the AI nonsense has made this app completely unusable. I can’t even seem to find my projects which I used to manage my weekly tasks in. Please fix it or you will lose long-time loyalists like me who used to recommend the app to others.

Navigation impossible
Impossible to navigate properly since one of the recent update. It’s extremely difficult now to find my list on the app. The most they integrate and promote their AI stuff, the less usable and user friendly it is. I am not even talking about the slowness it has induced.
Give me the old app back
I used this app for lists and it was PERFECT and now all this Ai stuff ruined it this app wants to be like an AI version of notion so bad, i cant even switch to a different dashboard because the option is so high up its covered by the device time in the corner so ive LOST ALL MY LISTS and everything takes me so much longer to access and i hate it

Temos o Taskade a muitos anos. Sempre gostei da plataforma, mas recentemente tem praticamente expulsado os usuários mais antigos que usam a plataforma com gerenciamento de projetos. O app agora virou um reflexo do site que já é muito confuso. Entendo que a melhora deve ser contínua, mas não vire as costas para quem confiou primeiramente em vocês. Espero que seja uma situação temporária pois utilizamos diariamente a plataforma.
