The top lightbulb is a sham it works better in Bluetooth but for some reason scenes fail to trigger
Every single time the fade options are poor u should be able to pulse each colour if u so wish i think the app is berry limited the smart features ant berry smart with tcp wont be buying there product again
Issue with connection to cameras when away from home
Can not connect to my cameras when not in the same Wi-Fi from some time ago. They were working fine then probably software upgrade killed it. TCP offered a refund / I can’t find receipt lol/ but it must be soft issue with ‘unable to establish a secure connection’ fault. PLEASE FIX THAT BUG !! Thanks

Unable to log on
App seems not to be working anymore, it hasn’t been updated by a developer for some time now. My various login attempts failed. I am now unable to set up my bulb

Really faulty app everytime I tried to change colour I would get kicked straight off the app and it done this every single time I could do nothing on the app except log into my account that’s all I could do wasn’t able to change the light colour or anything

Very happy with this app and lightbulbs you don’t have to pay anything very simple to set up works brilliant could not wish for anything better you can switch on and off from home or from you can put your lights on entertainment to come on works perfect with no subscription
Needs work
Since upgrading to iOS26 the app is no longer as compatible. There are many bugs and does not show the current state of the smart plugs, Chinese writing is also being shown with English set as the language.
Inconsistent App
Why does the device desktop provide status for each device and then when you go into each you find that it is on a different so who knows what the status is!!!?
For Goodness Sake
Needlessly complex, bad UI and a very high rate of failure when trying to add a simple plug.
Not Straightforward
I’m not an idiot when it comes to using heating apps as I’ve used a few. I recently bought a heated towel rail and I’ve found trying to set up schedules (or amending an existing one) very difficult (well I gave up and deleted the app to try and start again. Wish I’d known before I bought it. If it hadn’t been hung up I would have returned it.

Little basic.
It’s ok and does the job but could be a bit better.
We have a WiFi connected heater/cooling fan but the timer increments are in hours only. 15 minute or even half hour choices would be less expensive to run.

Read the User Agreement
I've just bought one of their dehumidifiers and set about downloading the app. I wonder how many people actually read Privacy Policies and User Agreements. I do. I did and it looks as if I'm buying weaponry not a dehumidifier. I'll not bother with the app and avoid exposing my online data to this crew. I suggest you take the same path. Also, most previous users seem to think the app is hopeless.

Disconnections
Constantly disconnecting my light. Ridiculous. The TP-Link light I have never does this. The switch for my hallway light is in a bad location. I need this light for myself and visitors, it never works anymore.

The app is not working and useless, which makes socket plug useless as well
Missold and clunky
Much like most of the people reviewing things here, I purchased six plugs to run a bunch of devices in different rooms using my Siri as it is plastered all over the box. App is not too bad but I’m pretty sure the option to make rooms is completely gone.

Over all descent but needs some updating:
Ability to change colour and brightness even with light off.
Ability to add more Scenes.
Ability to have a Scene colour be light off for strobe effects.
Ability to switch from White to colour without it changing.
Improved Schedule mode.
Ability to have seconds on timer.

Awful app
The app keeps losing track of the electric plug. I have to keep restarting and waiting for random periods of time before it appears again. Moreover, the state of the plug is always out of sync assuming that it’s on while it’s off after the last timer action. Also some genius thought that slider is the best UI element to select a timer interval for seconds (from 0 to 86400 seconds!?). Good luck trying to set exact 30 minutes timer precisely.
I’m not giving it 1 star just because it kind of works in the end but with a lot of wait in and frustration each time I’m using this app.
