If there is a financial app out there that is worse than this , god forbid.
Don’t install this app unless you A)have lots of patience on signing in ( touch and face ID work about 50% or less or B just want to use it for a short period of time until you get rid of your TDA account and / or your advisor.
I’m taking option b at the start of next year.

Worst Financial Services App I’ve Ever Used
Simply embarrassing how bad this app is. What’s the one thing you want to see when you log into an app with your investments? How each of those investments is doing over a specified period of time and how the investments are doing compared to one another. Can’t do that on this app. I could go on and on about the dismal user interface, graphics that look like the product of someone’s first attempt at app development etc., but this app is worthless. Seriously considering changing financial advisors simply because they insist on using TD Ameritrade; makes me wonder what they see on their end.

I dare you to update!
Are you an optimist?! Could the new 2022 update be better? Has TD read the reviews and decided to improve the app? I just can’t do it. It’s hard to believe the update could be worse. But if you do update and it’s worse, could you live with yourself wishing you could go back to the horrors of the current version?

Disincentivizing the Use of TD Advisors
This app is so poor that it makes me wonder if I should seek another advisor with a different tech stack. There is virtually no historical information which forces the user to focus on daily movements only (not correct investor behavior) and the level of analysis and visualization is embarrassing. Unfortunately the advisor credentials won’t allow you to sync your account with any other financial apps so you can’t even move away from this awful tech.
Why should clients of TD Advisors (typically higher net worth) be sent back to the Stone Age on this mobile app? It’s time to put some investment here.

Utterly Broken
I can’t even log in. It keeps asking for the first name of my best friend. Where did they get that? Some security log in from years ago?
Nothing was accepted. What is inexcusable is there is no option anywhere to change the stupid security question.
So I can’t even use the app, have to always go to my laptop.
