I think this app needs improvement. Because when you go to watch certain channels on the guide that you subscribe to, and try to watch it on an iPad it only says details! But yet if you go to a different channel like ABC or CBS, it says watch live! This app really needs more improvement! This is the reason why I am rating this low.

Functional…. Barely…
This app and TV service from TDS is usable, just barely. Frequent stream freezes, frequent errors that say channel cannot be streamed, Picture in Picture on iPad is very unstable. Base TV service on any device or streaming appliance results in spotty availability on CBS and NBC. Frequent “channel not available” errors. I am very disappointed overall with the TDS TV service. Looking for other options given that Spectrum does not offer tv streaming without their internet service. I have opened support tickets for these issues and they have never been addressed.

Guide screen ad?
The improved spacing on the Guide screen would be great if the “How-to” video ad didn’t take up 1/3 of the screen, greatly limiting the screen’s usefulness.
Also, it would be nice if you could see what OnePass recordings are coming up like you could on the old DVR.

New Guide interface is horrible! I used to be able to get more useful information on a single page. Please bring back the old interface!

Apple TV
The Apple TV app stopped working correctly this year after an update. When trying to flip back and forth between previously viewed channels it takes you to an entirely different channel altogether. Makes flipping between sporting events difficult.
Doesn’t work
I’ve used the app in the past to set programs to be recorded. It says I am not a customer and no longer works.

I have NEVER been able to stream a show. Totally useless

If you’re used to YoutubeTV, you’ll be disappointed. You can’t stream when not at home. It’s constantly lagging.

On vacation you can watch 39 seconds at a time! Then show freezes and you get gear symbol…Remote puts a banner when paused…pausing and staring is difficult and show jumps around.

Worst streaming app
How many rules must an app have to stream a singular football game? Ask the makers of this garbage pail kid App. useless in every single way. Frustrating beyond belief. I hope this company fails and everyone in authority loses millions.
