Return your vest while you can
The vests are buggy and lose connection constantly. Mine lises connection to the app constantly. Trying to determine if it’s even working is insanely difficult. Why they didn’t just include an on/off button that indicates whether it is on is beyond me.
Mostly works
Using iphoneSE with latest software update and latest T/A update. Had great difficulty registering new cannister as "United States" is at bottom of country list for Selection. Need to up scroll entire page and not just the submenu. Easy to switch between Street and Race mode for 7x.
Doesn’t support two different systems
My son and I both have Tech Air Plasma 5 systems. He doesn’t have a smartphone so I paired both mine and his to my app on my phone. However, the app only lets me connect one system; when I try to connect the second system, the app gets hung and doesn’t move past the “connecting” screen, regardless of how long I give it. I have to force close the app and restart it, only for the issue to recur. It doesn’t matter which one I pair first, the second one is out of luck. How has this not been addressed? I can’t be the first person to have this issue

Why is everyone one staring this?
As mentioned in other reviews the app works flawlessly, after downloading for a minute or two and entering some info I set up my vest in less than a minute!
Plasma 5
Software will not update through the APP… at $800 it’s a total fail!
Always disconnects
Great bit of kit but the app is utter rubbish and constantly disconnects!!
Does not work
Will not reliably connect, managed to access and register my vest, but 99% of the time will not log me in. Tried everything, does not work

Dumb app
I bought my buddys tech 7 vest from him and tried to register it to the app but no luck.
working as expected
dear developers, pls fix the software update message… whenever I am not connected it says “software available” but when I connect my vest it says “Software up to date” … would be nice to cache (store) the latest sw update on my vest in the app so it can clearly tell: “Your vest sw is outaded, new version available”…
also max speed in the ride log would be cool to see too ;)
if you fix it, I will give u 5 stars :)
otherwise the app works nice, good job there

Disappointment
This App is a huge Disappointment from A*. You cannot turn off on the vest. You cannot change the mode. It does not show amy nice data lile a lean angle. It only shows system connested or disconnected. Basically total S… App. It is not even clear if the vest is armed or not. Confusing. It does not record the rides automatically nor does not offer to enable sich feature. The only way to arm the vest is this stupid zipper switch that enoys me when dressing up. And when heaving a break the west goes all the time unwanted on. I am so annoyed by the product. I wish i could have returned it now.

Can’t update
Update is stuck at 2%… seems like a common issue
Vergognatevi

Useless
Premium price, basement-tier app. The vest costs €750, yet the app is unusable. My cheapest Chinese tech imports have better software support. Fix it
App needs work!
Got my new TECH-AIR MX. Downloaded this app. Was able to pair vest to iPhone no issue.
Tells me there is an updated Firmware.
Each time it stops at 2%.
Have contacted AlpineStars but quick search shows this to be a common issue…
