Decade Long User
I love tellonym. It’s probably one of my favorite apps to pass time with. It has done exactly what I need, and want, for a decade. Since high school I’ve had the link in my bio and I get random questions. It’s amazing. Sometimes I get pestered, but it makes me feel more comfortable! The whole reason I am writing this isn’t to hype it up. I keep getting the suggestions to “subscribe” to the upgrade. And the only real reason to purchase is to get rid of the ads. But.. $40 a year to get rid of ads.. :( I’m already sharing my deepest self online to strangers. Now it’s $40 a year to not have my screen consumed with ads?? I’m literally already doxxing myself, why so expensive?????? Please!!! Make a one-time fee to just get rid of the ads :( :( :( :( :( i beg of u

Can’t even use
Made an account and was using it over the course of a week, all of a sudden it logged me out and won’t let me back into the account. I made a new account on the web and it won’t let me on it on the app at all, the app just doesn’t work anymore I can’t even contact support it just says error
Fake massages by company
Misleading app. It seems to send fake anonymous messages and notifications to push users into buying a subscription. I even got activity notifications when no one viewed my story. Very disappointing and hard to trust.
Stop Opening Snap
App is fine overall except for the fact that everytime you answer a question it automatically brings up snapchat and there is no option to turn that off.

I am really satisfied with the app overall and I enjoy using it. However, I highly request the developers to bring back the direct messaging (DM) feature. It was a core part of the experience. Thank you!

La última actualización de iOS para poder compartir los tell en las diferentes redes sociales pasó lo mismo, poder guadar la imagen del tell y poder compartirla aunque no sea Snapchat ya no aparece de nuevo; ojalá uds lo consideren, disfruto mucho esta aplicación y esta función me parece muy útil, por favor. Get rid of the BOTS!
The app is amazing but the bot messages are absolutely horrible. They drive me insane considering i simply want messages from friends. Add an option to turn it off please. I’ve done the ‘block sender’ but it does nothing since the messages are coming directly from the app.

Under “ Spring sale “ , i was told i would get 9 months free for tellonym plus at a rate of 5 rupees that will be refundable , but i have been charged 749 rupees , without the free trial. How is it a free trial of 9 months if im paying the whole amount without recieving the free trial?

Hey, sorry about the confusion with the charge. The main price shown at checkout is always the amount that gets charged — any other figure is just there to give context on the cost. That said, if you feel the charge doesn't match what was shown to you, please reach out to support@tellonym.me with your account details and we'll look into it for you.

Hey, if you're seeing messages that seem automated, try blocking and reporting them so we can look into it. Some of the questions you get might be from the team to help get conversations going on your profile. You can turn those off in your Tells settings if you'd prefer not to receive them.
