Great addition to my grilling/ smoking
This is a great tool for your grilling and smoking. It has never lost signal or skipped out. The ability to see it on my phone instead of having another display like other units I have is very convenient.
Works ok; two issues to get the fifth star.
App works fine but two issues. 1) unit comes with clips for grill temp but app lacks “grill” selection. Grill needs both high and low alerts and works differently from things that cook. 2) time to done estimate is wildly inaccurate. Hint to devs: there should be no zero in the rate calc.
Mandatory
Couldn't be without the Thermo Pro probe and the TempPro app. No more guessing if the chicken/loaf/cake is cooked through. Can set an alarm for scalding milk for yoghurt. Hell it's even useful for giving the ambient temp of a room. Gets a lot of abuse and seems to be able to take it.
Works well but
It works well and It allows me to customize each temp setting to match the way I cook. My only complaint is that I can’t shut off an alarm. The slider that should, don’t. The only way I have found to do that is to change the profile to none
Easy to use great range
Thermo pro is the best temperature gauge. I have purchased so far and I’ve been smoking for 50 years.
The app is easy to use
Customer service is the best. One of my probe stopped working. I called them up no questions. Ask they sent me a brand new one ride to my house in three days. Excellent customer service excellent product just a winning hand.

Works as advertised
Very pleased with this unit! Especially appreciate the Bluetooth connection and warnings for extended smoking. Very valuable tool. Would highly recommend!!
Armchair temperature checks
It works well and is a nice way of keeping tabs on meat and ambient temperatures without standing by the barbecue. There is a nonsense ‘time left’ timer which either shows an unrealistic time or no time. I also found that the alert alarm cannot be silenced even when it’s switched off, it always goes off regardless.

Bluetooth ThrermoPro won’t connect to iPhone

I would rate this 5 stars if there was a way to turn the damn beeper off. Most of the time I’m close enough I don’t need the “reached temperature” alarm and can’t turn it off.
It’s just okay
I really want to love this but you can only use one unit. I bought a second and it won’t connect to my Bluetooth. So, if you like it only buy one. There is nowhere in app to add second device. Also, very hard to set custom temperature - I want to punch in a number not slide a tiny bar and hope to land on the right place

App colors do not match probes
This device typically works wonderfully and we give it five stars, but I’m a little frustrated that the in app probe colors do not match the device and probe colors. I wonder if the tail walks the dog at this Company???

Misreads unless you bury the whole probe right up to the wire connector.

Charge Connect and Chill! Sitting in my sunroom watching my smoker is clutch! It can almost connect through walls.

I really like the app. Super easy to navigate and use. I really hope that live activity functionality will be added. With other brands having that enabled, it’s really nice to be able to see all the temps from multiple places on my Home Screen without having to bounce between apps. Please make this functionality!!
