This app is an embarrassment for Trimble. I use it everyday for recording field data at work. Rarely do I NOT have to close it out and reopen the app to collect a feature multiple times within a workday. When it does function somewhat normal they make an update and it’s even worse than before. Poor Software development and back end server issues plague this company

New Update
Recent update is terrible. App force stops at random. Picture added to a point crashes the app.
Zooming in on app view
You folks HAVE TO KNOW this feature simply is broken on a fundamental level.
Zooming glitch renders it unusable
I rely on using this app for work. Recently, there has been a zooming glitch on the map view where it does not recognize pinch to Zoom, and when you try to pan with one finger, it adjusts the zoom. So there is no way to pan to a project area, and the zoom adjusts in in a cycle as you move the finger up or down

New "Projects" view is a huge downgrade - please change it back.
The new "Projects" view ("Cloud vs Local") is a huge downgrade from previous version for two reasons.
1. It now shows ALL projects in the entire account, instead of only showing projects where the user has ToDos / tasks assigned to them.
Now we have to scroll through all our projects just to find the ones assigned to us.
2. The cloud vs local thing is super confusing and unnecessary.

Terrible
App constantly crashing and freezing.
Very frustrating
It’s like they purposely try and complicate your workflow. From the app to the website, the receiver to batteries. Problem after frustrating problem.
Poorly Written App
Needs to go onto website to log in. Claims it’s logged in and syncing but when you look into things it didn’t upload anything. Can’t log in if tethering through any other device that can log in.
Project recognition issue
Although I’m added to a project in trimble connect, it’s not popped up in the app. It’s so annoying as there is no way to troubleshoot it…
Wrong account type
When I logged into my account today terraflex defaulted to a free trial version of my subscription. Can’t find a way to change version type- I have terra flex basic which works on my PC but not on my iPhone anymore. Need some real help
App no longer works on apple
I have been using this app for 3 years. With the new update the app no longer works on apple. If you insert a decimal value it does not save the value it just leaves it blank. Does not matter if you use a point or a comma. Please advise on how to fix this issue
No support
App crashed, data lost. No way to get any support. Only links to buy, getting started, or 100 other things that are useless. Help with a PROBLEM! Under the help link is marketing and training - not help.
iPad version
I can’t believe in 2020 they don’t have an iPad version of this app.
Garbage. Works half the time.
If I could give it 1 star I would. We use this app A LOT, but I’d say less than half the time it actually brings up the map. Most of the time it’s just a blank screen with the GPS dot. Can’t blame it on the cell service (4 bars).
Good/Needs Improvements
This app has been really helpful for me as a newbie to GIS for collecting geometric shapes and positions of areas of interest to me. I like that you can take photos and make forms for different points/areas collected. The web interface is a nice complement to this app too. However, there are just a few things I find frustrating. I have a hard time finding answers online for problems I’m having (no user guide or easily accessible guide, dated YouTube videos, no direct customer support offered, etc.) and there are some things that lack the intuition that other features of the app have (edit positions isn’t easy to figure out, can’t zoom into photos, etc.). I think the app offers a lot of what I need that I either haven’t figured out yet (hence the intuition comment) or lacks seemingly simple things that I’m not certain of they will improve. Overall, the app has worked for what I need, but could do better. This is why I gave 3 stars.

Will plot a point that’s about it
No longer using google maps. This application lets you use their map that will load only when it chooses, and that is just street maps. Picture quality on the satellite map does not allow you to zoom into an area to see if you have missed anything. My job requires me to find field entrances that only get used in the spring and fall. Now that they are over grown since they are no longer being used I have to go home every nigh to double check and make sure I didn’t miss anything. So this minor update is adding extra hours to my day. Thanks.

Update made this app garbage
The update made it so I could use the zoom in and out buttons on my map, but now the map looks bad and won't refresh the map when zoomed in.
Also there is no way to edit points, so if a mistake is made the line has to be scrapped.

Not impressed
Might be a good way to collect data. But I get better accuracy with the built in GPS on the iPhone than with a R1 antenna. Played with it for an hour and then trashed the app.
Trial mode
It doesn't give the option for SBAS real time config. I have no need for a yearly subscription.
