Tessera: Relaxing Tile Puzzle

Tessera is a calm edge-matching tile game where you grow a mosaic garden one tile at a time. There is no timer, no lose condition and nothing chasing you. Each tile has four edges made of grass, water, sand or bloom. Rotate the tile in your hand and set it down on any empty space touching the mosaic — every placement is legal, and matching edges are simply worth more. One point per matching edge; line up all four sides against neighbours for a TESSERA, worth five bonus points and two extra tiles in your queue. Rotating objectives ask you to link a number of tiles of one type into a single region or place a set number of tiles, and finishing one adds points and more tiles.
