Number disappeared
I was using the app and everything was working fine mostly. Sometimes I had issues sending and receiving calls. I received a text and couldn’t reply. I noticed everything was spinning or freezing so I had to restart phone to keep trying to troubleshoot. I couldn’t hang up outbound call but it was not ringing. Then I noticed my number in the app was no longer visible. Not sure how or why this happened since I was being charged for subscription. My experience has been very disappointing. I couldn’t use the online chat b/c it gave me an error message related to my email. I sent a email and received one email saying my number was never a text now number. I sent proof of number I used through app and proof of subscription. I haven’t heard back after sending documentation that was the number I was using and paid for….

Not sending texts anymore
I have been trying to send texts, but they don’t send anymore. I can receive, and that is it. It wasn’t even close to the 15 days since I sent one and now it is because they won’t send. I also can’t make any calls. I think the update ruined it.
Recent changes use 5 credits / sms and no free UK number
Since June 2026, you are unable to get a free number, the service has changed and if you lose your number no option to get another, apart from to pay £15 a week! You used to be able to build up credits from watching ads but now I can’t see my balance. It’s honestly cheaper now to get a eSIM from Lyca or another uk mobile provider for £3.50 a month, where SMS messages actually work and get sent/delivered. I’m not sure what they’ve changed since early June, but it’s so backwards, it’s crazy. Surely with the revenue they are getting, you’d expect the app to get better. I don’t recommend this app at all anymore.

App stop working out of nowhere, I can receive msg but can’t send any! Been using the app for years now. I HATE IT NOW NO LONGER LIKE IT!
Problem calling and receiving calls
I used to use this app a lot before. For the past 5 months I have been charged and the calls are immediately dropped and m calls mot going through.
Not free anymore
Not free anymore and the spinning circle is forever. Will be deleting this app. Had this app for more than 10 years. It was great until free is over.
Hijacking and intrusive ads
I tried tapping X to close the intrusive half screen ad, but instead it hijacked the app and pushed a ridiculously expensive $7 plan. I couldn’t even close it, so I ended up uninstalling. At $2/month for an ad‑free version this might be worth it, but right now you can get a real non‑VoIP number that receives bank and social media codes for under $10 from other providers, so no thanks.
