Must Have for Shortcuts Power Users
This app adds a lot of functionality that you don’t get in Shortcuts; not just for text workflows but data manipulation and conversion. I also use it for testing Regex patterns because it provides instant feedback, sort of like programming in Jupyter Notebook.

A must if you use shortcuts app and manipulate text
The paid version of this app is definitely worth it. If you manipulate text with the shortcuts app using ChatGPT or for Anki card url encoding it makes things way easier

Last Update Broke Shortcuts
Every shortcut I have that uses the text workflow action now opens the text workflow app when it reaches that action and simply stops the shortcut from continuing instead of returning anything. I also get an error message when trying to select a workflow in the shortcut action. Several shortcuts I use every day are now broken. What's absolutely bewildering is that this redirecting behavior is happening even with a shortcuts that do not and have never used the text workflow action. I can't even begin to understand how that happens. This is a great app otherwise but holy god 😵💫

At last, advanced text manipulations with the shortcuts app
Have you ever asked yourself … there must be a way to easily handcraft text, so you can get correct, repeatable output from your shortcut. This app will get you there 95% of the time (and I suspect I could add a couple of percentage points if only I were better at REGEX).
There are still ways that the app could further slice & dice text - you won’t know what it can and can’t do until you test it out. Yes it can! And if it can’t then just request an addition to the actions. The author is very responsive and helpful. If only he were on the Shortcuts team - sigh.

I got this app on my iPad and iPhone a while ago and didn't really use it much.
Today, I was working on my affiliate marketing business and I was searching for a way to transform the products URL links I want to promote into affiliate links.
Now, you have to understand that every company that deals with affiliate marketers do business with many different affiliate companies. Some deal with Refersion, some deal with Impact, some deal with ShareASale, etc.
And each of these companies have a different way of generating your affiliate link, but it's generally slow and painful.
For some companies, all there is to it is a bit of text added at the end of the URL. So, you can figure it out and use a text expander like Rocket Typist to add it quickly.
However, some companies generate links where they change almost everything about the URL. - become 2%D, / become 2%E, the https:// is replaced with something else, etc.
If you are wise enough, you can still figure out the pattern and create a text workflow in... Text Workflow that will automatically convert the URL into the affiliate URL.
Thank you to the developper and this app is a Godsend for affiliate marketers dealing with multiple links who need to be quick.
