Pointless
Tried to sign up for a free account to test before subscribing and it doesnt work, just says the app was terminated, no reason, avoid
Way to complicated to set up
Wanted to just do a simple monthly text to employees but the paperwork and hoops you have to jump through are ridiculous and takes weeks to set up.
Doesn’t work can’t even sign up
All u can do is download it. If all you want is another app on your phone then it’s sweet. If you want to send mass messages to people individually, this app isn’t for you.
Great remote access to client communication
Signed up to facilitate client communication whilst overseas. Takes a lot friction out of processes. Scheduling and templates for sms messaging super easy. Only draw back is lack of image capacity which means i have to use WhatsApp as a back up.
Game changer, honestly amazing
I never write reviews. I can never be bothered however this app got me out of a lot of strife. I was using clicksend before for my mass sms marketing. Got my number blacklisted, had no good chat feature, had no call forwarding on their virtual numbers. This app literally does everything I want it to do. It’s been so refined. It’s literally goated. Thanks so much for helping my business not crumble!!

Server off
This needs to be working 100% of the time, it’s no good if the server is off for hours. Today, No way to login, and the app doesn’t work. Not good enough.

We couldn’t operate our business without text magic. With the help of this app we are able to connect with clients in a fast paced environment. Our program requires an ability to send updates, links, and chat with clients at a moments notice. Text Magic app is always improving and we love it.
Message not being sent
This app is not letting me send messages at all
Generally speaking, it’s fine
When we started using this app a few years ago, it was amazing. Since then, they have added features that are hit and miss, either because they’re only available in the desktop version (rendering them pretty useless), and removed some features randomly and without warning.
Customer support is worse than the service itself
Having a range of issues with Text Magic, SMS messages not being delivered, messages come through multiple times etc.
Any contact with customer support will tell you that it’s just a device related issues and the evidence required to support any investigation is unreasonable.
It’s a shame because the layout and idea of the product is awesome. I would strongly advise to look for a different service

Started extra for sender Id !! . This is bad
they started 10/months just for sender id. This doesn’t make sense.
Completely Unreliable
I can’t even count how many times my confirmation texts have not been sent out. The first few times it happened someone from their customer service got back to me/credited my account, but no one responds now. Small businesses…don’t use this app.
Scandalous price increases
Just about to delete the app. This morning I received an email from TM and they have stated they are going to start charging for features that were free. This would cost me hundreds of pounds a year extra and I am a really small company. I will be deleting my account straight away and finding an alternative. Avoid TextMagic as they love to twist the knife when inflation is already ridiculously high.

DO NOT USE THIS APP
I found out about this app from a friend. I sent out mass messages and it worked the first time but there after not only does is not send the messages but it’ll say that it’s been sent and deducts money from the account. I sent myself a text and the app says sent but I’ve never gottten any text. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY HERE PLEASE!!! It doesnot work at all.

Terrible customer service
I think I’ve never written a bad review but this is extremely upsetting. We’ve been using text magic for our business for a couple of years, in the last couple of months there have been couple of moments where the app does not work and message are not being sent, it shows that it was sent but in reality it was not. The first time this happen I called about 5 times to see what’s going on and they said they were going to call me back, of course they never did. Second time happen two days ago, same problem. There is absolutely no one on customer service handling the app, they say all the technical support team is currently full but that’s a big fat lie. I wish that I never got involved with this app and unfortunately I can’t export the data neither so it’s going to require a lot of work to transition to a new one. In conclusion and if you are reading this, I would not recommend this app at all, very disturbing experience and quite frankly the owners should just close this if they are not involved in the business whatsoever

Terrible customer support
Dead app, no support
I thought I already left a review- had a client pick text magic a couple years ago. The app and desktop are set up ok but there is no longer customer support. This app reappears your have been abandoned by the developers. I’ve sent several emails asking for bare minimum support and have received no responses. It’s probably been years since there’s been any signs of a human involved. They don’t even have an AI bot for support- it’s literally nothing at all.

Worked great before but
Was working great previously but now random messages are not been deleted and I use for a company so it’s causing a lot of issues
Doesn’t work
TM sent me a report saying I had 17 replies to the 1000 SMS I sent out, but on the app I only had access to eight of those replies. How do you run a business unless you have access to those who respond?

Landscape and signature block
The ability to use this app in landscape mode is huge. Obviously this originally for a smart phone.
I’d love the ability to have a signature block and other templates.

Thank you for your feedback. Initially, the app was designed for a smartphone, that is why it cannot be used in a landscape mode. I have added this feature to the idealist, and we may start supporting it in the future.
