The app has different ads that play and cut into the show. Causes me to miss parts of the show. Going to try out the Q99.7 app I guess.
There are soooo many ads now than there ever were. Sometimes feels like it’s every couple minutes. I get it, but it’s such a bad experience for everyone else. I’d rather listen to the radio and get music at least rather than the same ads every day
Someone previously reviewed saying the phone calls are scripted, and I agree, but also want to note how obvious it is that the ‘listener emails’ are also written by someone in house. The writing style is the same everytime and never have I ever heard the word ‘HOWEVER’ used so often. Never once is ‘but’ or ‘although’ used as a transition in the emails. One of the hosts uses ‘however’ often so it’s a little obvious that the emails are coming from them.

I use the app every morning when getting ready since I don’t live in an area that plays The Bert Show. It used to be a really good app. Now I get way too many ads. The ads are not part of the show, it’s like they are paid ads from the app based on your location. I will be listening to ads for five minutes before I realize the show is probably on by now. So I have to exit the app and reopen and sure enough the are in the middle of a segment.

I love this show and listen in the mornings when I'm getting ready for work. I'm not in Atlanta so I've tried listening on iHeartRadio, this app and the Q99.7 app and out of the hour it takes me to get ready, more than half the time is spent on ads. And I know they're not the actual radio ads because they're local to me. And the ads are the same across all the streaming platforms which makes me think it's one source. I'd prefer to listen live and not a day behind with the podcast.

How many days in a row are you going to repeat the same segments? Sound effects weren’t good the first time but now I’ve heard it three times. Bert and Moe at the urinal in the bathroom was painful to hear the first time. Now it’s played on three days this week. My radio is off. Please make an effort! This is bad.

I listened to this show daily for years. I’d honestly feel incomplete if I went a day without it. I loved it! But, I feel the show has lost so much authenticity. Davi was let go and everything just… changed. I felt like these people who were open and honest about everything were suddenly lying. As it turns out, they absolutely were. I’ve listened to hosts come and go on this show. The problem isn’t about favoring one host over another or needlessly blasting the show because I’m mad about a decision… it’s being lied to. Bert said Davi wasn’t the problem and then went on a twitter rant about how Davi was the problem. If you had just been forthcoming from the beginning, none of us would have raised an eyebrow. But you lied, bent the truth, and created a false narrative. We listened to you because we could hear the show and feel like you were our friends, that you were being truthful and honest. Now, the content seems superficial and crafted. I get it- there’s only so much going on in your personal lives to talk about. But it’s been glaringly obvious that the show is just grasping at straws now because facing the truth seems too daunting. As listeners, we put our trust in you because you claimed to be real. We trusted you, and you’ve deceived us.

I’m not gonna lie, not happy that D was let go. But before stuff started coming out I tried to continue to listen.. and since then one or two segments have popped up in my newsfeed.. regardless of your feelings about the “event” (gross in my opinion but again… regardless).. this show has become SO stale and forced. Like I know you guys are busy trying to silence people but that “chemistry” you care so much about is literally crumbling. People who used to be P1s like me haven’t even WANTED to listen you for months because of how stale it’s gotten.

Completely entertaining!
These new recent reviews (even the ones talking about the app crashing…) are all because Davi was let go. That’s ALL those reviews are. The one let go was funny and sometimes ‘great’ but let’s be honest, tried too hard to be ‘woke’ and would never even try to see anyone with a differing opinion’s side. Ever. I’ve listened since 2015 and at first she was funny and quirky, then just completely negative and toxic. The rest of the cast is amazing, Cassie and Tommy are actually my faves. Ignore the recent fake reviews and enjoy listening to an amazing radio show/podcast throughout your day.

Deleted app- no thanks. Disingenuous cast. No fam here. I listened for years until recently. The show circled around “family” and “real” however true colors have shown through. Super sad because I used to love the show.
Don’t listen to the haters, it’s a great show. People are just on the hate train because somebody was unfortunately fired, that’s how life works. Try them out yourself, to me they are hilarious.
I listened since the early 2000s and have followed the show through many cast changes. Last few years some on-air talent have been lacking. New fresh hosts helped to make the show relatable and funny. Unfortunately it seems the least relatable on-air talent are the ones that are kept the longest and the most relatable are consistently leaving.

The home page listing the recorded segments is limited in how you’re able to view the segments. You can only view a sliver of the list in between a picture with the play button (to listen live) and the play button for the last segment you selected. There is no way to expand the list of recorded segments so you can see more than the sliver.

I listen to the Bert show everyday but now all of a sudden the app crashes in the middle of every segment I try to play. I’ve tried redownloading it but it still crashes. So frustrating
Love the show, hate this app because it’ll just drop out and then you got to listen to the same stupid commercial ten times for one segment. I live in Atlanta and I have 5G Verizon so it’s not me lol but other than that the show itself is great
I love the show, but the app is bad. Random commercials cut in during the shows broadcast. The same commercials play multiple times before the show even starts. It makes you miss content in-flight. I rarely use it now.
The app constantly buffers regardless of whether you’re on WiFi or not and plays the same ad over and over. I’ve also grown tired of Davi and her constant berating of anyone who doesn’t align with her views. This used to be an awesome show but finding a new one until she’s gone.
I used to love the Bert Show. Davi and her “wokeness” and overplayed stoner persona is nauseating. She makes the show unbearable.
Thank you all for the one bright spot in this pandemic! I discovered y’all by accident and am so thankful. You all invite us in and definitely entertain.
