One of my tyres had got a puncture after I hit a pothole and I used the Big Warranty app for the breakdown and recovery service. To my surprise, they accepted to recover the vehicle and get me to the nearest garage, despite the puncture not being covered by the warranty (which I expected to be the case as things like this never are covered). The car was recovered within an hour of the report being made. Overall, they made what is naturally a negative experience, a positive one.

Easy to use
I purchased the warranty along with my car, I needed to use the app and it was quick and easy to get through to the team needed. They were helpful and the issues were fixed without too much effort from my side.

My car has a warranty with this company. I have had the car for less than 3 months. It has been two weeks since they had my car in the garage waiting for authorisation to do a repair. They are now ignoring the garage. Ignoring my three phone calls and emails. No reply whatsoever. I regret buying the car from big motoring world and the after sales service is rubbish.

Dodgy car centre
Sell faulty cars and then try to sell you warranty saying it’s 24/7 helpline. Which is false it’s Monday-Friday 9am-5pm have no customer service skills and sell cars with engine faults
Doesn’t work
Impossible to log a fault with the car. Needed assistance three days after buying one for an engine fault and got no where. Not much help on the phone either.

Can’t report a fault in February 2024 and to see someone has raised this same issue in another review from November 2023 is concerning the issue has not been fixed all of these months later.

Can’t report a fault
The app will not allow you to report a fault. It says there’s a connection problem. The “24/7” warranty assistance is actually Monday to Friday 9-5. So if you have an issue on a Friday evening, 2 hours after you purchase the car, like I did then when you do finally get through to the emergency line, they will tell you to wait till Monday. Out of hours you can hold for emergencies but there’s no telephone queuing system so if someone doesn’t pick up, it says no one is available and to call back later. Incredibly frustrating especially after spending so much money on a vehicle for it to have engine issues after 2 hours!!

Can’t report fault
As others have stated, the single function of this app does not work. It exists to report faults and it cannot do that, and by the looks of it hasn’t been fixed in well over a year now. The company clearly does not care about the after-purchase care of its customers.
There is one main function and it is not working
They sell this extra warranty service and tell you how easy to report any fault on your car. This application only have this single function at all, to be able to report any fault on your car and it is not working. Rubbish!
Can’t report a fault at all
It just keep on saying “there was a problem, please check your connection” when i tried to report a fault. it is able to load up my warranty info though. So it doesn’t make sense at all. Piece of crap. Will give zero star if possible.
Useless app
Asks for a verification code that you don’t get sent. Then you ring up to get the code but the code is invalid. Then they tell you to re-download the app but nothing works still. Just makes you think they don’t want you to claim or be helpful in any way
