What’s My account?

No where in the app can you provide a server with a userid, account number, or email hmmmmm all the things they need to give you points I guess they really don’t want to give points out.

Horrible App Design

You need to change how this app works. Make a QR code or bar code that you scan off the receipt. I had a number of beers not record. The GM is the Orland Park location helped get them added. However they only show under the old app and not the new. I have gone there one time in the last year and none of my beers recorded. Very disappointing as I would go there more if this worked.

Just doesn’t work

New update:
The main problem is the app does NOT tell you if you’ve made a mistake when logging in. If you enter an invalid brew crew id or email it just loads the app and tells you you have no beers. Apps need to tell the user if they have entered invalid ids otherwise it just looks like you have no data.
It would also be nice the be able to associate an email with a brew crew id. I can currently only log in with the brew crew id which I don’t always have at hand.

The older version used to keep track of which beers you tried. This is important since you earn points for trying each different brew so you want to try as many different things as possible. The new version just does’t show anything. You get a list of all beers and i guess in theory it should show you if you’ve tried it but there are two problems.
1. It shows all beers they have ever offered. I guess you’re supposed to look through the list then check if you’ve tried it. This is way too long a list for this to be practical.
2. It does NOT show if you’ve tried it.

Updated response: Thank you again for your feedback. Brew Crew IDs are being phased out in favor of email addresses. When logging in by email, you will always be told if the email you are trying to use is not registered. We hope this will improve your experience in the future. You need to log into your Brew Crew account within the app in order to see your beer history and reward points. If you are unable to log in, or if your history or points are not accurate, please contact your local Brass Tap so that we can assist you.

Doesn’t work

Signed up weeks ago. And while the web page shows my status and points correctly, the app shows 0 whether I sign in with email or member number. This is the minimum functionality I expect to work. This is really bad, guys.

New App

I was in guru status with over 560 beers tried and after updating to the new app I now have 105. Lost my reward also.

Missing points

I lost about 50 points from beers I’ve tried. I enjoyed the old app I was using better. I thought it was smoothed and was accurate with the beer counts.

Brew Crew data is missing

Overall design is a bit cleaner and data renders much faster, but now all of my Brew Crew data is missing.

Major changes needed

As one review stated, it would be great to use the app itself as a means of checking in rather than the card itself. Recently I've also noticed that when I check beers I've tried, it lists ALL of their beers. And when I look at new beers...nothing is listed. It would be quite a task, but finding a way to see what beers are available at your local brass tap and then ticking them off for flights or saving them so you can order more quickly when you arrive would be helpful too. As of right now, the app is just a glorified version of the web based app.

Thanks for your feedback! I don't know that we've been able to hit all the items on your wish list, but we have just released a new and upgraded version of the app that has fixed a number of past issues and added some additional new features. Maybe give it a try and see how we're coming along?

Would like to be able to show bartenders my brew crew member ID from the app in case I forget or lose my card.

Suggestion: Let the user check beers off the browsing list and save it as a requested flight on the next visit!

Could Be Cleaner

Cool app to keep up with my brew crew list. But this app has so much more potential. The new logo is much cleaner -- would like to see the app be clean as well. Could rival Untapped if done correctly.

Only loads chosen selection sometimes...

Usually when I make a selection the app just loads and loads but never does anything else. It lets you back out and retry but with similar results. Killing and reopening the app sometimes helps. I have only been able to fully explore the app once after download but now I struggle just to search through anything.

Bad update.

The latest update on March 6 has made the app extremely slow. It take much longer to load my local Brass Tap's beer selection.

This app is a hot mess. If you're going to rip off World of Beer, at least make your knock-off somewhat useable!

Just download another app

Whoever made this app should take from the corporate owners and rip off world of beer in every sense.

Why can't your brew crew find a new beer? Why can't you filter from anything besides name and style?

Download the WOB app, then make yours the same. Your crew may appreciate it.

This app will be great when u can actually use the brew crew section. Until then it should of been left as "coming soon". Can't wait to see my points!!
