ETA: I also wish it had a graph that tracked weight.
I Would Like This A Lot More If...
Just WOW!
I was overweight and my husband was dangerously overweight with type two and other maladies exacerbated by the poor way that he ate.
I've had to be more careful about things I ate due to Crohn's and a stenosis in the gut where they removed a portion and put me back together.
But we were both in need. I showed him the article which I probably found in a woman's day magazine.
I was shocked when he told me he believes he could do this.
Together we lost a ton of weight.
Life happened and we derailed due to family death and sale of home and a huge move which caused less time to cook and pay attention to our bodies.
I lost my hubby in May, I continued to lose weight but I've put on about eight pesky pounds and I need to eat better so I'm starting this again.
I can't say ENOUGH about the energy we had during the months that we followed this plan.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you. It's simple to follow and though there are a couple days where your mind thinks you're depriving yourself, the other five days make up for it.
If you want to lose it, this IS the key. Tricking your metabolism.
Don't go your whole life feeling miserable and not liking how you look like in the mirror. I was old when I started this. I regret not learning about it years ago.
This is it and it was inexpensive. You feel a difference from week one and it only gets better.
Highly recommend!!

Update app
Amazing
Needs update!
App Issues
First, the app has been opening to yesterday rather than today, and it has been doing that since I restarted the diet. (I don’t know if this makes a difference, but I traveled across two time zones when starting this time). Second, the Phase 3 breakfast meal “B and B Toast” wrongly populates as having a protein (it doesn't) and leaves the fruit section empty despite the recipe including berries
Other than these glitches, the app is always helpful to doing the diet
Simple app but it works!
I put on Covid-Menopause weight and although I have not re-read the book entirely, I’ve been on this diet non-stop for the past 7.5 months just following the app prompts, and have lost 40+ lbs so far. I praise this diet to anyone who wants to hear how I did it.
The app does need an update, but it works nonetheless.
This app is useless except for planning
Pros: water tracker, planning times/foods for meals.
Cons:
1) You’re not really “tracking” your food if you can’t enter everything that you eat, even if it’s something that’s not supposed to be there. There should be some way of entering foods that are either off-limits or out of phase. (Side note: I’m pretty sure you can email your data to the company so they can analyze what you’re eating…what good is that when you cannot truly track things?)
2) In that same vein, it doesn’t let you track your portions. That’s fine if you’re someone trying to lose 20 pounds or less (1 portion), but as she says in the book, if you’re trying to lose more than that, you will need to increase your portion sizes. Well…you can’t track portion sizes here.
I have many more gripes with it but those are the biggest.
I do think this is a good way of eating so far, so I give the diet a hesitant thumbs up (only in week one) but this app needs some work.

Love this app!
Glitchy and outdated
What a shame, I was really excited to use it. The plan is the healthiest I’ve seen, ever. It’s not easy and a solid tool would make the FMD much more comprehensive.
This definitely hurts the brand.
This really works if you follow it to the letter
Love the App but wish it had a copy feature
App needs an update
So frustrating to use
My Normal is not App’s Normal
The App refused to allow my first meal input with 30 minutes of waking at 1.00am. Oh, well I will track the FMD using pen and paper.
