Nice option to Garmin
Response from developer
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on The Outsiders. While we're able to create a great app, we can't change your friends and their taste in watches, so you'll just have to accept them, yes 😜 Thanks again 💜 Vid
Nice app and modern interface
Response from developer
Hi! Noted. We are now working with twice the speed😉. Thanks for your help. Vid
This could be a great app!
The interface is clean, modern, colorful, and does an excellent job presenting workout data. I also appreciate how much information is available—from training load and endurance fitness to heart rate zones and workout trends.
My biggest criticism is that the app often assumes users already understand advanced exercise physiology.
For example, labels like “Low Aerobic Shortage,” “High Aerobic,” and “Anaerobic” are presented without enough explanation of how the app defines those terms. During one of my indoor walking workouts, the app classified 67% of the session as anaerobic, which seemed surprising for a steady 50-minute walk. Whether the app is correct or not isn’t really the issue—the issue is that it never explains why it reached that conclusion.
I would love to see each metric include a brief explanation answering three simple questions:
• What does this metric measure?
• Why did I receive this result?
• What can I do to improve it?
Even something as simple as a tappable “Learn More” button beneath each chart would dramatically improve the experience. The app already excels at collecting and displaying data; now it needs to excel at helping users understand what that data means.
Overall, this is one of the most promising fitness apps I’ve tried. With clearer explanations and more educational context, I think it could become one of the best fitness platforms available.

Hi! Thanks for trying The Outsiders and for your feedback. We do have those "Learn more" buttons :) Some metrics have the "i" button on the right side of the screen, and others have short articles at the bottom of the page explaining what that metric means, why it matters and what the results tell you about your fitness. Is that what you had in mind? Also, could you drop by support@theoutsiders.app so we can check that 50-minute indoor walk? It sounds like some settings might be off on your end and I'll be happy to look into that and help you set it up correctly. Thanks, Vid

More features and google health integration
Response from developer
Hi! With the recent addition of Google Health synchronisation to Apple Health, your Fitbit should be able to record data in Apple Health, from which The Outsiders can read the data and use it to display your workouts, sleep and body metrics. Some of the other features you mentioned are already planned to be added or upgraded in upcoming updates but we’d rather focus on doing a few things at a high level than trying to cover too many segments and delivering them halfway. But we do appreciate the suggestions and will keep them in mind for the future. Thanks for giving The Outsiders a go! Vid
