Horrible!
It signs you out every month or so and you have to re-enter ALL of your info. It’s ridiculous. Enough to make you join another club

We appreciate your feedback. Logged-in users will have their session expire every 30 days, but you shouldn't need to re-enter all your information. Each member has a profile and should easily be able to log back in after logging out. Please be sure to remember your username, which can be retrieved from member services at any time.
This is not a user-centered design
UI/UX designer and front-end dev here. St. James as a gym is pretty great. Staff equipment and facility is good! But this app and the overall experience has been lackluster to say the least. Classes fail to load, schedule returns error messages, and barcode often comes up blank. Quality of life updates are sorely needed. Please have the team conduct additional usability testing and have these P1 and P0 issues addressed.

Worst scheduling app ever
Now I can’t view my schedule and I can’t change my password. I can’t get to my barcode to checkin at the gym. This app consistently crashes and/or the system is unavailable. Useless
Annoying app
Every few weeks the app forgets who I am, claims I don’t have a membership, and tells me I can’t sign up for any classes. I have to delete it, log out, reset my password, log back in , and pray that it works again (about 50% success rate). When the app is working, it makes me log in again before I can sign up for classes even if I have just logged in. Just very glitchy and I wish they would take care of these issues so I don’t have to keep calling tech support when my app/account become unlinked.

Apple Watch support

Overall, the app is ok to use. Scheduling classes is fairly easy, seeing schedule in the app is fine. Finding the barcode could be more intuitive; a single click for it would be nice.
My BIGGEST issue is that I don’t think you can’t add a class to your google or apple calendar through the app. That’s a major flaw on my view! Unlike most apps (mind body, e.g.) that let you add to your calendar with one click. It’s annoying to have to book through this app then create an event in my personal calendar.

I AM a UX designer and this app is the worst.
I try signing up for classes and the registration disappears. I can’t use the bar code entry feature because it doesn’t load. And it gives zero information other than the title on what the classes actually are.

Please fix this app, it’s very useless as I have to contact the gym constantly to schedule stuff. And the stuff I have the front desk schedule doesn’t show up in the app. What is the point of the app?!
Works 50% of the time
Very glitchy. Takes forever to load. Most of the time it doesn’t show your schedule. Hard to book classes. Needs improving.

Cannot Login
The app experience is so bad. I cannot even login and do anything. Their website is bad as well and thought we can try out the app but they’re all really bad. Should hire ux designer and do a ton of QA before release. Bad for business overall.
No schedule
The app does not show your scheduled classes anymore.
