Complete Waste
Both the app and the equipment are a complete waste of money. The app doesn’t work properly and Pro 40 will kill a ribeye.
Nonexistent Product?
Got a SteakAger pro 40, but this app doesn’t even recognize that the product even exists let alone connect to it. I’m incredibly disappointed in this since I finally set the device up only to now have no idea how I can use this accurately without the app.
WORST APP
Ok I get it probably not the company’s priority but it need to at least work. I’d give it negative if it’s possible.
Not updated in 3 years
This app crashes continually. Will not connect via Bluetooth 19 out of 20 times and crashes upon attempts. I e rebooted the phone, deleted and reinstalled the app and it only gets worse. Cannot connect via WiFi because there are issues with their connection server Now it’s telling me my email is unconfirmed or deactivated. No way to activate it… horrible software for an expensive machine. One of the main reason I bought their machine is bc of the app connection.

Orphaned
It’s been 3 years since it has been updated. App crashes upon launch on iPhone 16 Pro. Can no longer use with my $1400 ager.
App crashes
Every time I open the app, it crashes. When I do get it to open (once every 50 tries) it crashes when I try to connect.
App Stopped Working
Bought my SteakAger about 2 years ago. The app stopped connecting to my SteakAger. I am not sure when it happened but it was sometime within the past year. The app probably needs updated for latest versions of iOS. Can you get this done Dev?

This app needs to fix their data vs data graph real time. It is super slow and always provides inaccurate information. So confusing. Every time I exit the app and reload, the information is not the same as before. Data and temperature/humidity does not match what being displayed. There is no way to set temperature within app or inside the unit.

App closes on its own every time i open it
On the home page ive tried to press “connect to steakager” and everytime i do so, the app automatically closes on its own. Ive never been able to get past that button, and it’s unfortunately very frustrating!

Worthless irritation
Will not show humidity or temp in app at all. Constantly says needs 4 minutes to update but never does. It’s a failed app all the way around.
Marginal value
The app continually drops network connectivity. Content mostly selling additional products not much value to device owners. They should concentrate on stabilizing the app’s connectivity to the fridge. Also. They should include the humidifier as an essential component of the Ager so as to ensure a quality product instead of beef jerky.

App working great
Works great. Appears all the issues mentioned in other older reviews are fixed. I’ve had no crashes. Synchs to WiFi right away and provides readings from anywhere I travel. It would be nice to reset the log for new starts, but app doesn’t allow a reset of the log that I’ve figured out yet. More of a nice to have option so overall extremely pleased with the app and ease of synching to the SteakAger.

What a shame
Like many others have said, app crashes most of the time and I always have a hard time syncing. Can t change any settings on the app even when it “works”. What a shame that such an expensive piece of equipment has such a trashy app.
App doesn’t work
App doesn’t work. Just crashes when you open it. Doesn’t allow you monitor humidity or temp which is the main reason I bought it. Buy a $500 fridge and get a fan. Much cheaper and will be higher quality.
Buggy, terrible
Super Buggy app experience in general. Syncing is not well executed.

Please Update
I have been using this product for 2 years. I don’t ask for much from the app, but with the latest iOS updates you can no longer scroll the app to see the humidity chart. Please update the app so that I can feel confident my meat product/investment is safe...
Temperature?
App shows that the unit is never at the correct temperature for proper use. Glitch, bad thermostat or unsafe?
Needs an update. Badly.
Can’t switch to WiFi. Bluetooth only works sporadically. Can’t claim to be the best with app like this. Guys fix it!
