Worst update ever
Don’t pay to upgrade. Get another app. Wish I can give negative stars.
Whatever they have done in some of the latest updates is so bad. Have talked to support. I have been patient for updates. But despite updating latest version it’s a mess. Got so frustrated today while playing a round it actually impacted my game since I was annoyed and distracted and had the worst round in 3 weeks.
- GPS feature keeps crashing the app within a minute.
- won’t work with Apple Watch anymore properly. It used to be just fine. It just ignores the score on Apple Watch and doesn’t record. Won’t advance to the next hole either after I enter the score.
- doesn’t load my clubs. So I can’t track distances. It loads all generic clubs including hybrids and clubs I don’t even own.
These are just the issues I have noticed so far. Today I ended up using free version of 18Birdies that was fine - even worked with Apple Watch. I used to be a long time
GolfLogix user and switched to Grint last year as my friends are on it. Bad mistake !!

Accurate and link to GHIN
I really like The Grint: it is easy to use on the course and enables you to capture stats. The link to GHIN really helps keep my handicap accurate.
Great app
I really like this app a lot it’s got a ton of features that I really like. It been very handy when looking at yardages and slopes of the green to know where you can miss. It’s also great that you can pull up courses before playing them. There are some features that I don’t use that are just not relevant to my game. I did give this app 5 stars which it deserves, but there are some features that I wish it did have. Maybe in the future we will see it maybe not. But will continue using this app.

Time stamp on the game played
The scoreboard as maintained during the game shows older date than the day you are playing & entering the scores !

Hard to post score bot accurate
Hard to post a score. I did a hole by hole post and it didn’t adjust for quad bogeys even though I’m a a sub 18 handicap. Hard to trust.

Easy to use and I love the confidence of keeping score, playing against others, and having my GHIN all in the same place. The on course features with aerial views and green maps and a big help!

Where are my completed rounds?
I played a 9 hole course and tried to review the score card the following day. Found that I was not able to locate any previously completed rounds.

Apple Watch Sync Issues
Troubles starting round on Apple Watch or syncing from iPhone to it since about 3 months ago. Sometimes it works, but after a few holes, the watch loses the sync and just asks me if I want to start a round; unable to see I’m mid-round.
For both devices, I’ve tried: restarting, deleting the app and reinstalling, used cellular data, confirmed location turned on, tried mifi devices, checked background refresh turned on, and installed the latest update.
No real point in the paid subscription if I need to carry my phone to my ball.

Love the vibe and feel of the app
Great overall layout and HUD that shows things in a very easy on the eye manner, best in its class in that regard, would just appreciate elevation and wind in the free version like its competitor 18 birdies and keep plays like to the premium.
