Hard to post score bot accurate
Hard to post a score. I did a hole by hole post and it didn’t adjust for quad bogeys even though I’m a a sub 18 handicap. Hard to trust.

Where are my completed rounds?
I played a 9 hole course and tried to review the score card the following day. Found that I was not able to locate any previously completed rounds.

Apple Watch Sync Issues
Troubles starting round on Apple Watch or syncing from iPhone to it since about 3 months ago. Sometimes it works, but after a few holes, the watch loses the sync and just asks me if I want to start a round; unable to see I’m mid-round.
For both devices, I’ve tried: restarting, deleting the app and reinstalling, used cellular data, confirmed location turned on, tried mifi devices, checked background refresh turned on, and installed the latest update.
No real point in the paid subscription if I need to carry my phone to my ball.

Love the vibe and feel of the app
Great overall layout and HUD that shows things in a very easy on the eye manner, best in its class in that regard, would just appreciate elevation and wind in the free version like its competitor 18 birdies and keep plays like to the premium.

My Favorite Golf App
I’ve used several apps. I wanted one that didn’t have a dedicated watch. Some don’t work well on the Apple Watch. Some don’t sync correctly. Some are too complicated to use on the course quickly. Some don’t have enough data.
The Grint is the perfect balance. Works great. Captures good data and gives good insights without being too complicated. And works great and intuitively on the Apple Watch.

GPS issues
Can never truly see where I am. GPS shows me miles away from where I really am. Very frustrating
Great add on app for golfers
Getting back into golf, TheGrint app has motivated me to be a better overall player, and hold more accountability for myself when playing. The app has a few things that get constantly updated and better but the best thing is the customer service. I had some questions and they answer me with the right answers very shortly afterwards. Thank you!

Horrid programming
I don’t even have time to list the issues I have with this app relative to glitches, but I’ll list a few. Automatically starts rounds at the wrong course. At the BEGINNING of rounds, the app automatically fills all 18 holes with a score that cannot be deleted and renders the app useless for that day. Better luck tomorrow. My friends and I started using this app in 2023, and now are pigeon holed into using it in perpetuity because changing to a better functioning app would outweigh the inconvenience of sticking with this app.

Pro version
The basic version is great on a mobile but the pro version is awful (don’t pay for it) it doesn’t work on a Apple Watch
Not Happy ☹️
I’m unable to save practice rounds without posting to automatically to the USGA site. When you upload privately the score still goes to the USGA site and has played havoc with my handicap.
App can’t locate the course you are playing
It’s happened twice now in Ocala Florida with two different courses, when I open the app it says I’m at a course 20 or 30 miles away. GPS on my phone is fine and when I open a different Golf app it recognizes instantly which course I’m on , It’s frustrating because I like the app , I’ve written twice customer support. And so far the problem is unresolved.

Trying to sign up for the app and it will not even let me create an account. Waste of time
Needs Stand alone apple watch support
It would be nice to be able to start a round on the apple watch completely independent from the iphone app. I’m a long time Grint user but the Tag Heuer app does this currently so i’ll be switching. I leave my phone in my bag and rely solely on my cellular connected ultra apple watch gps during the round. Less distractions and it is almost like having a Garmin S70. It would be nice if I could get a similar experience on Grint because I like the features compared to Tag Heuer but the Tag app is more minimalist and less distracting during the round .

New updated app
I’m not a fan of the new updated app. Can’t find a way to delete a course from my “Top 5 Courses” … one that I haven’t played. Frustrating.
