Everything worked the first few days now it never works. We got this for someone with dementia we were hoping this helped. All it says now is “we apologize an error has occurred in red”. Good thing I waited to write a review of this works like it did in the beginning it would have been 5 stars. Basically the watch and app is useless don’t waste your money.

Love the Watch and App
The Theora Care Watch has been a game-changer for both my mom and me. For her, it’s a great way to maintain independence while staying connected. She loves being able to easily check the date, day, and time—something she often forgets, but this feature keeps her grounded. She’s also thrilled with the simple calling and emergency call function, saying it’s amazing to do all that “from a watch!” She even enjoys showing it off to her friends.
For me, the Theora app provides incredible peace of mind. I can always check her location on the map, call her when needed, and rely on emergency features like fall detection. The app is packed with useful features (like geo-fencing) that make caregiving, especially from a distance, so much easier. Knowing I can keep an eye on her safety without constantly hovering over her is a huge relief, for both of us!

Provisionally Great
We’ve had a lot of glitches setting this up - possibly because we’re neither of us great at tech! (So it may not be a fault in the app) However, the support person is extremely helpful and friendly. It seems to be working fine now and I can see he’s drinking coffee at Starbucks! It is so important for him to feel independent and also important for me to know he’s ok. Plus, the company feels like an extra layer of support. I’m not alone in worrying about him.

Clunky app
Location map is terrible. Will locate and show where the watch is but info boxes fill much of the screen that it can be impossible to tell what street is being shown. Use the - button to zoom out and then it’s like airplane view of half the city so that’s useless as well. The watch is a rather expensive tool to have such a lousy tech design.

New firm wire update kills battery within 24 hours
Can you please update the app where you can choose 4, 6 or 8 hours for location updates also. For us 1 hour updates is killing the battery within 18 or less.
