Various bug fixes

User reviews

Updated This has been a big help, but…

Update: Not! I have been using this for over a year now. There have been no major updates to fix any of the problems. It has now been tested, and in 15 minutes my wife can be a mile away. When i do need to use the app to find her, i get at least 2 messages ( a time out error and something else) that are in the way of getting to the map view quickly. These messages serve no purpose, but are causing delay in a stressful situation. It would also help quite a bit if the safe zones could be made smaller. At almost 700’ as a minimum that gives her a good head start and possibly misses a ping on the front end of that 15 minutes. It is still a big help, but these relatively minor issues really need to be fixed! I bought this for my wife about a month ago. It has really helped the stress of “where did she go now” She paces all day and usually doesn’t go far, but if she does we get an alert. There are a couple things I would like to see added. I would like the ping to be able to set shorter. The current minimum is 15 minutes. She can be 1/2 mile away in that time. The other thing that would be nice is if you could see the step counter in the app. All in all I am very happy with this setup. I am able to give her more freedom to roam without have to check on her so often.

Notifications stopped in iPhone

Used to work great but we are no longer getting audible or visible notifications of low battery or leaving the zone

Can’t update contact info for contacts

Considering this is a LIFESAVING CORE FEATURE OF THE PRODUCT and the only reason the product exists, not being able to update the contact number is worse than unacceptable. The fact that there is no support to solve this, which again is LITERALLY A LIFESAVING ISSUE makes it even worse.

Incredibly Poor App

I honestly didn’t think an app could be this bad, and make it into the App Store. It’s almost as if no one tested it at all before offering it for download. For starters, you cannot see the descriptions in any fields, so when you’re setting up the app, you have no idea what to type in each box. Worse than that, was that the “I agree” button at the end of Terms of Service was buried so far below the screen, that it took multiple attempts to click it. I almost gave up right then to return the watch. As far as the watch goes, within five minutes of charging it -not even having started set up yet - I received multiple spam calls on the watch.I cannot imagine putting this on my mother’s wrist, only to have her bombarded with spam calls. It will take a miracle from customer service tomorrow to convince me to keep the watch.
