Good app for a good cause

Just got this app. My cousin was killed in a crash by a distracted driver, so this hits home for me. I know people who have been ticketed for texting while driving, and were so upset, but you were just lucky no one got hurt. I will recommend this app to everyone I know.

Great App.

This app is great. All you have to do is nothing, just leave your phone turned on and leave it down, which means you do not pick it up and you get rewards automatically.

The perfect app.

My thoughts

The app is a good way to remember to put your phone down while driving. I wish there was an easier way to tell the app when you’re a passenger and not driving.

Simple app but packs a huge punch!

I'm new to the app and only a couple days in and i'm a fan! I needed a good incentive to make me put my phone down while driving and here it is, i'm looking for a long lasting relationship, thanks!

Intriguing Concept

I just learned about and downloaded this app last week. I’m very intrigued about the concept and premise of the app’s mission, though it does seem to have some kinks tagged still need to be ironed out.

For example, one should not be dinged for using navigation/maps on the phone if the phone is mounted while driving, but it appears that I was since my % of driving time undistracted took a big hit after a drive last week while using the app. There was a second situation in which I finished the drive and wanted to check my status, but I received an update saying it I was still driving. I didn’t end up receiving any points for that trip. It would also help if the app showed a history of recent activity so one could one coukd easily track/monitor how one is performing against the app. But I’m willing to give it a bit more time.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Have you checked out our in-app navigation feature? If you set up your navigation prior to starting your drive by selecting the "Open Maps" button, you'll be able to use Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze without any impact to your score! Feel free to send us any follow-up questions to team@thisappsaveslives.com. Thank you! - TASL Team

Great!

This app is great and definitely helps keep drivers undistracted. I don’t think you’ll realize how much you use your phone while driving until you use this app. The app is super easy to use, just set your location to always and start driving. You don’t even need to open the app. I’m hoping that more brands will collaborate with TASL so there is more variety when redeeming points but they still have a good amount now. I will definitely recommend this app to anyone!

Amazing Idea

I consider myself a pretty safe driver, but I imagine using this app is going to show me how often I actually have the urge to look at my phone (even just a glance). Such a great idea!

PLEASE DO THIS FOR YOURS AND EVERYONES SAKE

It is crazy to think that we have come down to needing an app to positively reinforce us and incentivize us to not use our phones while driving. So please, for the sake of yourself and those around you, download this app to help remind you to STOP TEXTING AND DRIVING.

Great app

Its a great app to have specially if you are a uber or food delivery person earn rewards meanwhile doing what you are already doing.

Won’t even verify email

This app doesn’t work at all for new users trying to register. Tried to register, app crashes. Tried to register again under same email, said the email was already in use and to respond to the verification email. Tried to register as a new user under another email, still won’t work. It’s been a week and dozens of requests to send the verification email to either address, but nothing in inbox, spam folder, or trash. I’ve deleted and re-I stalled the app to no avail. No response from company to emails from both addresses sent a week ago asking for assistance.

Maybe this used to be a five star app, but if you read the most recent reviews versus the most helpful, it’s nothing but a sea of one star reviews and I completely understand why. Developer doesn’t seem to give a rat’s behind about keeping app up to date and users happy. For an app like this that actually WORKS like it should and has good customer service, I’m happy to pay. I know this app is currently free, but it’s useless.

Kansas lovers

Excited to use this , we do travel and if anyone is one the phone it’s me while my spouse is driving!

App

Runs in the background to earn points- only downside is need to always share your location.

It is very convenient especially if youre always driving around for points and get cash back

It’s like fetch but for driving

Definitely Recommend

I have only had it for a short time but the app is easy to use and you can get great deals by just driving safely.

Maps are funky

I don’t recommend the app if you don’t already know where you’re driving. You can’t get into maps through the button they provide and if you do it’s extra laggy. However if you already know where you’re going the app is a cool way at a chance at earning some gift cards.

Rewards are coupon codes basically

The available rewards are sometimes lower than the standard offers from the sites if you use them directly, or just their standard offers. Like Bombas’ 20% off first order for new customers. So there’s nothing to spend points on, other than donating or hoping you are a winner of an actual gift card if you use them for that purpose. The app is not integrated to your system, so if you forget to start it and hit “use map” it says you were driving with eyes off the road since you didn’t use maps THROUGH their application. I don’t feel people will continue to use it (selfish in nature) when it doesn’t 1)integrate better and 2)they want to use their points on something advantageous.

Great way to stay motivated off your phone

The rewards are beneficial. They also make me feel accomplished in seeing my 👌hours un distracted .

I love TASL <3

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, EARN REWARDS AND POINTS FOR BASICALLY DOING NOTHING!
Another good passive income app that’s for an amazing cause! & I’m all for that!

I am always looking and researching for passive income apps and “jobs” when I saw TASL pop up, I downloaded it immediately and got a $100 TASL point sign up Reward, I was surprised! I “use” the app all the time and by “use” I mean I just signed up and I let the app do its thing in the background! While I’m driving I’m remembered not to be distracted because I’ll be rewarded for it, I was already a safe driver before and stayed off my phone but now I’m being recognized for it! Haha. Thank you to the app creators and everyone who has supported this app since the beginning, you all made it what it is today and it’s great!

Being rewarded for being a good driver!

Nothing better than being rewarded for being a good driver! I drive a lot so it's nice being able to get rewards from it

I couldn’t get it to work?

Edited from a previous review:

I have to drive for work and this app rewards me for doing the same thing I’ve been doing for years, which is driving undistracted. However, the rewards aren’t super lucrative as of right now, and it sometimes registers I’m driving when I’m not, or says I’m finished driving when I’m still in the car.
