SMS sending to US number doesn’t work

I am planning a trip to several cities in Europe and have downloaded the apps for each cities public transportation. I was able to create accounts for all of them except this one. It requires an activation code via SMS but I never get the code.

SMS not working - Still
Like reviews from 2 years ago, unable to set up account because SMS code not received on phone. They should allow SMS code to be sent to email address. Annoying because the app sends an email informing you that you’ve started the process but need to enter the code. Frustrating!

No foreign SMS authorization
Constant errors when trying to set up an account. Eventually got to the SMS authorization and it wouldn’t work with a +1 number. Just go to the bus terminal if you are at the train station and get a ticket at the kiosk.

Doesn’t work
Signed up. Put in US phone number. Doesn’t send an SMS to finalize signup. App needs major help if you can’t even signup to purchase their service.

App doesn’t work
My husband and I both downloaded the app. When trying to register I just got “unknown error” . My husband managed to register and buy a ticket but the app wouldn’t let him activate his ticket so we lost that money. Totally useless.

Cannot register as no SMS received despite trying on 2 phones. Makes the app worthless. No point having options for international umbers if the sms to complete registration is not sent / received.

I requested a verification code 3 times and never received one. I can’t even register.
This app is so bad, I had to review it
The app forces you to make an account to buy bus tickets, but if you are from the US, it will fail at sending the SMS code to you. You’re better off buying the ticket physically somewhere else.

Unable to register
Registration process couldn’t be completed as SMS was never received. That means you can’t use the app to buy tickets. It doesn’t make sense that you need this step for registration!

Cannot verify SMS with U.S. phone
Will have to figure out a different way to get bus tickets as you can’t use this app without verifying by SMS. It’s too bad but it is indeed useless to foreigners.

It is true that the app will not send a registration code to a UK telephone number but if you e-mail customer support they will register your account and send you an access code within a day.
I have not yet used the app to buy a bus ticket but at least I am registered and ready for when I get to Verona

Cannot create account to buy ticket
This app is not bad for checking routes and the bus timetables.
However you cannot create an account and therefore you cannot buy a ticket on the app with a number outside of Italy as it doesn’t send you a confirmation code ever. We tried with multiple phone numbers and never got a code. This needs fixing.

Can’t register
The app allows for area codes from outside of Italy but you never receive a code to allow you to register, it is impossible to buy tickets on the app without having an account. Hopefully this is fixed soon.
Short man syndrome for the bus ticket police
Tried to purchase a ticket multiple times on the app (after no help from bus driver with regards to how to buy a ticket through him). By the time I did, there was a ticketing officer getting on the bus who had short man syndrome so needed to feel superior by fining me €50 as I didn’t purchase the ticket when I first entered the bus (173 from Verona)… even though I did purchase a ticket. Incredibly rude to tourists.
