What's New in Tidywell

1.2.1

July 26, 2026

Thank you for supporting Tidywell! This update fixes Kids Mode device setup and makes schedules predictable: completed tasks now reset at midnight on the day they are next due, tasks pinned to specific days appear only on those days, and finished tasks no longer resurface. Did a chore twice? Tap it and choose Do it again to earn coins again. Plus new welcome artwork, and coins earned offline are never lost.

User reviews

Super useful!

I always procrastinate cleaning my house. This app makes it super easy and fun!

Awesome!

This app has changed how I approach housework! I’m able to clearly see all of the tasks for each room and can plan my time around what needs the most attention. I love how every task is tracked for frequency giving the overall percentage of cleanliness. My son loves looking at the chores too. I really wish there was a widget option so that I could add my daily list directly to my Home Screen. Really well thought out and executed.

Thank you SO much for the kidn words and I'm really glad. I will be working on the widget ASAP and thank you for that suggestion, I don't use widgets much myself and therefore did not plan for it but this is coming. Thanks again.

First app I’ve seen that actually seems to be built for a brain like mine

So far, I’m finding this easier to use and keep up with than other apps that say they’re supposed to be great for ADHD. There are some bugs, and I think some features need to be added but so far I love this app. Some features I would love to have include:
- scheduling tasks to pop up bi-weekly or every other day without pinning them
- more dynamic options for prioritizing certain tasks that day (like a build your day option)
- adjustable amounts of time budgets for individual days (ex: I’m off work Monday so have a higher budget for housework than I normally do)
- a place for household tasks that don’t fit into a “room” and are more individualized, like reviewing finances, paying property taxes, writing thank you cards, things like that.
- a place for tasks that are more “long-term project” than quick task. Like opening and storing wedding gifts or cleaning a closet out

Hope to see more from the developer in the near future!!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this, genuinely one of the most useful reviews I've had. Really glad it's clicking for you where other ADHD apps haven't. Good news on a couple of these. Adjustable budgets per day already exist > head to Profile > Cleaning Preferences and you can set a different time budget for each weekday, so a higher one on your day off works exactly like you described. I've had a look and every-other-day / bi-weekly scheduling without pinning will come in the next update, the groundwork is already there so it won't be long. The other three are firmly on my list. A spot for household tasks that don't belong to a room (finances, thank-you cards, that kind of thing), a way to build your own day rather than letting the app decide, and proper support for long-term projects you chip away at rather than quick tasks. If you hit any of those bugs and have a second to tell me what happened, I'd love to squash them. Feel free to email me at tidywell-app@zohomail.eu Thank you again for taking the time, this kind of feedback is what shapes where the app goes.

What makes Tidywell ADHD-friendly?

Tidywell offers features like Focus Mode for single-task management, an energy check-in to filter tasks, AI task breakdown into micro-steps, and a 'Low Spoons' mode to hide difficult tasks. It aims to reduce overwhelm and paralysis often associated with traditional chore lists.

How does Tidywell handle chores for kids?

The Kids Mode features a playful UI, large tap targets, and age-appropriate achievements. Dependent profiles allow parents to add children without needing them to have their own device, and task approval can be done with before and after photos.

Can Tidywell help roommates manage chores fairly?

Yes, Tidywell uses an effort-weighted 'Fair Share' system where more demanding tasks contribute more to a user's contribution score. It also includes a household leaderboard and a 'room-neglect radar' to provide data-driven insights into chore distribution.

What are the Premium features in Tidywell?
