Who did this

This app would be ok for a transaction account but it is terrible for a mortgage! First of all it doesn’t show you your outstanding balance in the loan account, just how much you’re ahead on payments by - why? What use would I have for that information when I have a separate offset? I need to know how much I still owe and now that’s two menus deep. Second there is no more bpay, which is annoying if your bank flags large normal transfers for scams. Finally no web access, which also means no ability to easily save statements for e.g salary packaging, and limited ability to download transaction data for budgeting apps. Seriously considering refinancing to a normal bank over this. Two stars instead of one though because the app does work pretty smoothly it just doesn’t have any useful functionality.

The WORST APP EVER!!!!!!

No CVS transaction files, no ability to change statement frequency, no online banking website, no ability to see Bendigo and Tiimely accounts in one place. The online chat function doesn’t work, the send button stays hidden after you type a message, so you can’t open a chat!!! THE WORST!!!!

Wrong statements

I found an issue with the account statements coming from the new app: withdrawal transactions ADD to the total account balance, instead of deducting from the total. The statements are just plain wrong and can’t be relied upon.

This is such a basic thing to stuff up

Terrible

That they got rid of the web portal & replaced it with this is shocking. Can’t even download a simple account statement. I need the statement, with account name & number included, but simply not an option. Woeful.

Very average app lacking basic functionality

The app forces deregistration when attempting to log out. No way to rename or delete old accounts in the regular payments section, either. Unbelievably poor design for a brand new app.

not fit for purpose

started using the app, i thought great, finally an app, wow, who wrote this? Timely should ask for their money back from the contractor. I searched for ages looking for a bpay number, it’s not there, i opened account to see account details, used the bsb and account numbers for a payment, Timely have set the indicator on their accounts to advise other banks that they do not issue static account numbers, which is not true. as said couldnt setup a bpay instead either. will now have to login to the website which makes the app pointless. ah but guess what, they took website login away. what a total schamozzle. after all the hassle of the recent transition, the app has not been properly designed, or developed or tested.

Forced to use an app that doesn’t work

Tiimely is forcing all existing users to use this app and is shutting down the old web interface.

If this wasn’t already ludicrous (now I *need* an app to access my offset account and can’t access it from a desktop), the app literally doesn’t work. I enter my mobile number on step 1 and get an error.

Save yourself the hassle - get your mortgage with someone else.

Update: after finally gaining access to the app, I can confirm that it’s terrible. Extremely basic, lacking functionality, and they even introduced a *forced* delay with “instant” transfers that are over a certain $ value - even to repeat senders - which delays it by a couple of hours. No way to disable it. This company’s disdain for its customers’ is palpable.

Woeful “improvement”

Forced to use this substandard app where if you go to log out (as any security conscious person would), you have to also deregister your device! So to use it again next time, you have to re-register. I have just rung up about this and been told to set auto log out after 3 mins of non activity, and that they have received feedback about this flaw. But really, did they need to be told that??! Was it developed by a work experience student?
If you see this before taking out a loan, seriously consider going somewhere else where there is a good app AND web access, which there is no longer with this mob.

Solid, barebones app

A lot of hate going around that is probably not deserved. The wait for existing customers and the poorly executed migration definitely deserves criticism, but not really a review of the app.
The app itself is like a very basic watered down version of Up. It’s barebones but a vast improvement on the ancient website that previously existed. Osko is a very welcome addition.
I hope the app continues to develop, but as it is it does all that is needed in a banking app. It’s very user friendly and intuitive (or at least I thought so).

App works as described

AFTER the transition, the app works just fine. I would possibly reconsider the default setting for the “Require log in” setting to be enabled.

Nice, Clean and Simple

Definitely better than the old app, like the emoji idea. Can do instant payments now👌. Existing customer transition took a while but did receive comms about that so not fussed about that. Looks like there won’t be web portal access anymore, only via app? having a web version would still be good

Reduction in services without any reduction in fees.

Mobile apps are handy when you’re on the go but a lousy substitute for a fully functional online banking. First day and already I can’t confirm if all future payments are scheduled correctly. Unable to have auto loan repayment from external bank account.

Visibility is very poor

Forced to migrate to an app, only for the app to be locked to phone size, not useful being on a tablet. No information on buttons, there is only icons which are not intuitive or helpful. Appears many of the features of the web browser have been lost. Very little to like about the app.

Update doesn’t work

Even after waiting for the transition (they sent the sms messages too early saying it was ready when it wasn’t), I still face the same “something went wrong - can’t find your account” error message from step 1 as all the users have reported in the months prior to now. Very annoying experience. I waited an hour on the phone this morning only to be told it wasn’t ready yet, now after sending me the activation email that hasn’t worked I’ll have to spend another hour tomorrow if I want to access my money in the offset, seems they’ve discontinued the old web interface. What a hassle.

lol

Works perfectly fine. Everyone one-starting the app very clearly didn’t properly read the great many letters and emails they got from Bendigo.

“Something went wrong”

After literally years hearing about this upcoming change, I’ve tried to log in or activate my account and just get a meaningless error. Sounds like it’s not working for lots of people. What a fail.

It’s a bad joke

Received confirmation that the transition is done and i should be able to access the account. No luck. It’s just saying that something went wrong with no solution.

Doesn’t work

Per the other review it instantly errors on the first step of the phone number saying “something went wrong, please try again later”

Doesn’t work

Received letter in the mail 7/11 saying to use the app now. Follow the instructions to activate my account and apparently “We can’t find your account”? Shouldn’t need to have to follow it up!

Why can’t existing customers use this?

Some genius at Tiimely has decided the app is only for new customers, and existing customers aren’t allowed to use it. This makes zero sense, and means we’re stuck with the clunky browser experience months after this has been released.
