Bans people with no proof needed
This app needs proof if you want to report someone. I got falsely reported for being underaged and now my account I worked hard on to get 1k followers will be gone next month. I am very upset and I have tried every way to try and verify my age. I’ve given Facebook posts from my 17th birthday with my face, my High School ID with the year, my grade and my face on it, I found my birth certificate but they don’t accept that and I only have my learners permit, I don’t have access to my government ID or my passport and I don’t have a credit card to verify. The person who reported me KNEW I don’t have access to anything so they knew I can’t prove anything but they can just report my account with no proof and call it good? Fix your app.

Great but quite an big issue
Overall the app is amazing and I’ve been using it for a while, you can have multiple accounts, start streaks with friends, mess around with filters, make videos and lots more! However recently on TikTok there’s a trend going around called “Folk Valley” it’s basically people posting unfiltered / unblurred gore or people getting seriously hurt and making it inverted so it passes the TikTok
Filters…somehow?? I think this really needs to get checked on and I’m surprised it hasn’t as this has been trending for over a week now. We’re all very aware that TikTok is an app full of younger children now and gore is damaging and traumatising to anyone’s health. This needs to get checked asap and removed , and I believe stricter management is needed to stop videos like this getting past the filter. Thank you.

Ads and Shops Overhype
95% of the videos I see are ads, sponsored posts, TikTok shop, accounts trying to sell you junk and stating to go to their live, and undisclosed ads. I’m over it. And when I say I’m not interested… that doesn’t mean I want to see more of the same account or similar accounts! By the 3rd video or so that I’m having to mark as “not interested”, I finally have to block them. But that doesn’t matter because my algorithm will just give me 5 new accounts that are the exact same thing. I don’t engage with these videos (likes, comments, shares, reposts, nor do I linger to watch the full video). So why is my algorithm just trying to sell me stuff? I AM NOT INTERESTED. This app has gone downhill fast and I’m tempted to just deactivate my account and move on already.

So this happened recently like 2-3 days ago but I’ve been noticing that when I try to go through my repost from the begging it only shows like a minimum of 200 recent bookmarks and when I trying scrolling further it doesn’t let me,and I’ve been updating it regularly but it still won’t let me scroll and let me see my first repost. I I like this app, but everybody updates coming early. They got the new cute layouts on TikTok. I’m still stuck on the old stuff. The app is good but then my account that I have 1K followers on going onto 2K got banded in it says it’s no way for me to like appeal mind you I got banned on a random day talking about I’m too young, but I literally have ID that I sold him then I have money that I can pay for my account back so y’all need to fix that because every time everybody else got an update and I don’t it clicking and I don’t wanna have to spread like the false information to my friends and tell them to stop using the app but yall going to have to to fix the app

So it was good at first for a couple of months and then I got banned for no reason I was live and they just banned me like what did I do
Weird issues
So I’ve been using TikTok for not too long, maybe just a couple months at best? And it’s been working alright, although when I go to see videos I’ve watched when I first downloaded TikTok, the likes I had put have disappeared, though the repost and favorites stay intact. I also had to reinstall the app because I tried to change my bio and pfp, and it kept on saying “You have edited your profile too much today, try again later”, it’s been saying that for the past 2-3 weeks (ever since July 8th) and I can’t edit anything before of that message.

So I’ve had Tik tok for years, recently I’ve been getting racist comments and weird hate comments, I try to come back or reply and Tik tok deletes my comments and keeps doing that, DO NOT GET TIK TOK IF YOU ARE BLACK, my account has a strike now because I tried to post a comment of a racist DM that I got, I hate you Tik tok and I hope you burn!!

WILL NOT STOP SHOWING LIVES OF PEOPLE ARGUING
You have the option to constantly hold down in the hit not interested but no matter what I do I constantly hit that button and I’m constantly getting these stupid people on my page arguing with each other about politics or whatever they’re arguing about.
Over and over and over and over and over I have hit not interested in at this point I’ve literally clicked into the lives just to block the individuals so they stopped showing up on my feet I have blocked over 30 people that’s INSANE. There needs to be an option to turn off lives. Or just some kind of better adjustment like I wouldn’t care if my lives have to do a video games or rocks or anything I’ve run into the past but nothing but people arguing and asking for money and then arguing about each other being broken wanting money or politics. I have enough screaming people all the time I don’t need to hear people arguing every time I get on this damn app I’m half a brain delete it and I know many people are too
