Signed up on Wednesday and was out to drink on Thursday evening… met with a great group of people and had a great time. Will definitely join in on future events.
Forced subscription
The app was cool, now they forced a subscription model. Welp time to delete the app. Also I hope you like an event with all guys because that’s what you’re going to get
Moving to a new city with no connections
I was lucky enough to discover Timeleft right before moving to a new city, and I knew it could be a great way to learn the landscape, discover new places to eat, and hopefully meet people who could help me feel more connected to my new home.
It completely exceeded my expectations. I’ve met so many incredible people, whether at dinner or during the drinks and hangouts afterward. Those connections have grown well beyond the app. My weekends are now packed with plans, I’m constantly meeting new people through people I’ve already met, and I genuinely feel like I’ve built a community here.
Timeleft made my transition to a new city smoother, more welcoming, and honestly more fun than I ever could have expected.

Nobody showed up
Man I was so excited to meet some new people on a Wednesday night in a new city but nobody showed up lol, I was so excited but kinda disappointed
Great idea, not enough areas
Shocked to discover there are no meet ups in southern Portugal. There are so many people there looking to connect. This would be great if I didn’t have to travel to Lisbon for a meet up. Should open up for Faro.
Why you list country of birth
Why should app display country of birth to members? I participated two times, and event was not balanced.
Events Cancel an hour before
Don’t get too excited, these people just want your money and the good reviews are fake. Not happy with events cancelling literally an hour to 45 minutes before the event, plus they are shameless about it if you ask for a refund. Terrible waste of time and makeup.
Worthless unless you live in a big city
Don’t get this app because it’s a huge scam. If you’re looking for small dinners in your local town, you’re SOL. Only huge gatherings in your nearest major city allowed. Even if you are fortunate enough to live downtown, they don’t tell you where you’re meeting until 10 HOURS before the meal! How is that helpful to anyone at all? I need to know what it is I’m committing to before I make the arrangements! And the best part is you have to find all this out for yourself, and you can’t get a refund when you do. Most embarrassing waste of money in my life.

Not what it used to be
Timeleft was a great concept. Now they're just about subscriptions with no meaningful contributions behind the app.
Used to be more varied in ages. I'm 33 female and sat with 36-40 year olds?
On the other hand I'm then sat with 20-26 year olds? On this occasion I did opt for a waiting list dinner. But still, more consideration could have made a world of difference.
It used to be lf I was say 30, there'd be a couple 27 year olds, a 29 year old and a 33 year old. Much better rather than a bunch of older people and 1 person being the youngest.
On 4 occasions I was assigned a restaurant I made clear was below my standards and budget so that meant I paid.for a month of cancellations.

Cool concept but..
Not in my city. Or surrounding areas. The closest one is about 30 minutes away from me. Need Oceanside or Carlsbad or something Escondido or Encinitas, in California.
So-so
Same people and restaurants. Always someone missing. Last event there were three of us. You should overbook by one.
Fun way to make new friends
Even if the people you meet are not destined to be soulmates or besties (though maybe they are), it’s still fun to meet new people, practice your social skills and shared ideas. ❤️
Room for improvement
This app is a great idea, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I would not have paid for a subscription had I known that there is only one option for women-only events in my city (Toronto). Given this, I recommend adding more women-only events, such as coffee on a weekend day. As well, I think the genders of the people in your group should be visible prior to attending. Women should be able to see whether they will be the only woman attending. In addition, when one cancels an event with short notice, the app indicates they will be penalized, but does not specify what this means. More transparency on this would be helpful. I likely will not be renewing my subscription based on these reasons.

It’s Gotten Worse
I used to love this app, but since adding more options on Thursday through Saturday there has been smaller attendance for dinners and events. For those that do show up to dinners, it’s all men.
There was better attendance when Wednesday was the only dinner option. I can only speak for where I’m located, in Houston. Others may have differing experiences.

Acabei de mudar de cidade, não estava com grandes expectativas sobre o encontro. Mas foi muito animado, do início ao fim! Tanto o jantar quanto a after. A ideia deste app é sensacional.

this app is nice to make new friends
but sometime it have glitches when the time is coming.
Where’s my city?
Originally super excited about this app but when I went to put in the city the only one was 3 hours from me. I want to find friends close by now that I have to travel 3 hours to meet.
Just overwhelmed by old people
I went to a coffee thing and was sat at a table with people far older than me who were so curious about how racist everything is in Alabama. Just a depressing waste of time.
Don’t subscribe if you ever want to cancel!
Used this app for a few months. Decided it wasn’t for me. Cancelled my subscription a week before renewal. A week later I get a notification on my phone for a charge from Timeleft. They charged me 3 months. Ridiculous!
Few events even in NY
Why are there so very few events in NYC at any time? Why don’t you give more info on the guests, at least some background and the reasons why it makes sense that you grouped us all to meet? Why are some events (drinks) only available in one neighborhood (lower east side)? And why do you keep advertising your investor’s tequila?
