Recent change is not for the better
It’s a fun way to meet new people, but the recent change to 12 hours notice of the location is not for the better. Coffee is at 1pm, so you don’t learn your location until 1am. Please bring back 24 hours notice!
Last minute hiccups
The restaurant was changed within an hour of the start and it was not close. The restaurant had a reservation for 6 people and there were 8 in our group causing hiccups for the restaurant and needing to reseat the group. Because the group was so large, there was an automatic gratuity of 20% added to the bill that I had not budgeted for the evening. Also, I did not have an opportunity to even chat with 3 people in the group as we were at a long rectangular table.

Too many last minute changes
Too many last minute changes moving you across town. Does not work with my scheduling
Invalid credentials
I entered my info but I was not able to finish the application with my credentials but I didn’t even know what was wrong allow my info was correct.
Changes too often
While some the changes are improvements going from 24hrs notice to 12hrs wasn’t welcomed at all. Also restaurants in dangerous part of town should be removed especially when it’s a chain of restaurants that has other locations in safer neighborhoods.
Really natural way to meet new people
What’s great about meeting people this way is that since it’s not a dating app, it creates a low pressure environment for meeting new people.
What makes it comfortable is that usually everyone is new and/or wanting to meet new people. So since we are all there for that purpose, it removes a lot of the awkwardness.
I also appreciate they tend to match people of similar ages and there is often a good balance of both men and women. On average, there tends to be about 6 people in a group, give or take a few.
I recommend this app for your life trajectory. You never know who you’ll meet!

Restaurant choices are overpriced and commercial. People that use this app are usually socially awkward

Billed $150 for nothing
I got charged $150, despite not using this app nor ever attending. A subscription model for this kind of app is lunacy. If you don’t actually attend or sign up for an event, there is no service provided by the app for that charge. So how can they justify charging a subscription fee? Stick to building community via social media and community pages - which are free. This is honestly a rort.

Timing
Never able to make a time for it since they only do Wednesday nights I’m only available on Friday nights and weekends and it’s too far away from where I live with Auckland is the closest to where I live but took more me than an hour to get there

Faux algorithme
Ce n’est pas du tout basé sur un vrai algorithme, vous êtes mis complètement au hasard avec des gens, sans vrai questions derrière. J’ai atterri à une table avec que des étudiants et des gens non sportifs, alors que je cherche à rencontrer des gens aisés qui font beaucoup de sport… c’est juste du hasard, vous payez pour rien.

Offered a free month, but I had to pay. Then took the money, cancelled events I had booked and travelled for. Went to unsubscribe- offered me a subscription at half the price that was taken.

Acabei cancelando minha assinatura no terceiro mês pq estão repetindo os mesmos restaurantes e bares. Com tantas opções na cidade, não acho interessante ficar indo no mesmo lugar. E agora avisam só no mesmo dia onde vai ser o evento, ficando mais difícil de se programar.

Either you guys screwed up or I got stood up by 7 people
I signed up for a Thursday drinks and on the morning of, the app changed the location stating we got an “upgrade”. I never saw what the original location was.
Anywho, I showed up to this “upgraded” place and none of the 7 other people were there. I even messaged the group chat and got no reply. I waited 20 minutes and then left.
I asked TimeLeft for a refund and they won’t give it to me hence this review. What a waste of a night!

Site clunky
Is it me ( possibly) but the app does not respond as you expect it to.
I have booked and it was not registered. I tried to find the ice breakers, not there.

Gutes Konzept
Gutes Konzept, in einer neuen Stadt mit Leuten in Kontakt zu kommen! Ich hoffe auf eine noch größere Auswahl der Aktivitäten in der Zukunft. Beim Deutsch in der App zieht es einem leider die Schuhe aus, schade, dass hier wohl auch schon vollständig von der KI übersetzt wird und keine Qualitätskontrolle mehr stattfindet. Softwareentwicklung 2026 halt 😖
