Good start

The idea is actually quite nice as I love overviews and big pictures. Functionality is still limited though, so would love to see a bit more. For example a sidebar where calendars can be activated or deactivated (made visible) with a single click. Or how about pinch and zoom (that would be awesome), similar to iOs standard calendar in Stacked view. And possibly have a better view on a specific day, upon tap then show all events in a day, maybe with a pop-up etc (a quick day overview). Keeping an eye on it.

A great idea, and close to being great itself

I really want to like this app. I’m in the market for something to help me be a better longer term planner. I love the layout and “days you have left” perspective but the horizontal scrolling to actually find individual events for a given day is awkward. Maybe it’s too cheap - I’d pay more for something that aggregates how many days you’ve planed, haven’t planned, etc.

Hi David! Thanks for the review, it's really appreciated. I'd be interested to hear more about the aggregation feature you mention, if you have time. What data would like to see in the app, and how would you want it presented? You can get in touch at contact@timescapeapp.com

Nice, exactly what it says it is.

Works well and it’s nice to be able to see my year quickly when I’m looking to plan a trap. It would be great if there was a quick way to get to today with a single tap on the bottom part of the screen. Like tapping the date at the bottom.

Hi Justin, thanks for the kind review and suggestion! If you update to v1.2, double-tapping the date at the bottom of the screen will now return you to today's date.

Maybe good maybe bad

Can’t tell if it’s good or not. Uses the dark pattern of forcing a short free subscription before you can try it at all. No thanks.

Hi there, I'm sorry the pricing of the app wasn't for you, and that it wasn't telegraphed more clearly. I'm a single developer, and I deliberated a lot over this. Ultimately, the main calendar view is the value I'm charging for, and so I can't give access to that for free indefinitely. Timescape does offer a seven-day free trial. After starting the trial, you can cancel via the App Store, which I suggest people may want to do on the pricing page. You'll continue to have access for the length of your trial.
