Poor app
This app has twice disappeared from my phone and in the process I have lost data.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience. Timesheet doesn't remove itself from your device — if iOS offloaded the app to save storage, your data should still be intact upon reinstall. Data loss typically only occurs if the app was fully deleted. Without a subscription, your data is stored locally on your device only. We recommend using the built-in backup feature (Settings → Backup) regularly to protect your data. If you need help restoring anything, please reach out to support@timesheet.io — we're happy to help.
The app has slowed down greatly.
I’m having trouble using the app. It’s extremely slow and annoying now. How can I fix it?

Bugs
I really love this app, as a solo business owner, it is the only one I have found that does exactly what I needed to. I don’t need to do anything other than track my time for my clients so I can build them at the end of an appointment or for remote work. But despite the latest update, saying that it has been fixed, the settings still do not save, and revert back to 24 hour time and kilometers. Automation is based on location are also inconsistent. My settings to round to the nearest 10th of an hour also do not save.

Can’t set task status
New update won’t allow you to change task status. I use iOS version. Bummer!

Create account?
I installed this app to try and see if it would work for me. First thing it wants me to do is create an account and log in, or log in with another service.
Why would I waste my time doing this, only to find out the app isn’t going to work for me.
Maybe add a “use as guest” feature for testing purposes.

Bug suite à mise à jour
À priori, mise à jour de l’appli cette nuit. Ce matin, plus aucun accès aux tâches réalisées et à l’exportation des donnée (pb de code?). Contact du service client. Absence de prise en compte du mail.

Als Freelance Consultant seit 2020 im Einsatz. Funktioniert bestens. Wollte zwischendurch auf andere Apps wechseln wegen Integration mit RG Erstellung in Lexoffice. Wegen des Komfort bei der Erfassung wieder zurück gekehrt.

Es muy fácil de usar, es práctica y muy precisa para calcular las horas trabajadas, hace el redondeo de forma excelente, estoy muy satisfecho con esta aplicación, es de mucha ayuda, para llevar el conteo de las horas trabajadas día a día, y al final de la semana, tiene el monto total de horas trabajadas y el monto total a pagar, es grandioso tener esta ayuda tan práctica

Better on android
This is one of the rare apps that works better on Android. I can't filter my reports by client, and location automations only work half the time. I just switched to an iphone for work and I never expected the app to not be as good but it isn't. Also somehow all the tasks keep defaulting to not billable.

Perfect for independent consulting work
I’ve been using this app for a number of years for engineering consulting work. Does what it is supposed to do perfectly.
It WAS great…
First started using the app years ago on my Samsung and it worked great with no issues. I especially liked the widget function, which made it even easier to use. Tried the pro option, to get web accessibility, but that didn’t work all that well.
Recently I switched over to Apple and had a surprise when I downloaded this app — it no longer worked well! The widget has never once worked, I’m often faced with the app not working properly or as expected, and now with this latest 2024 June update the app has been rendered COMPLETELY UNUSABLE!! I can’t start the timer, view logged time, or anything of importance. I’m hoping exporting backup will at least allow me to view the time I’ve tracked over the past week, but I won’t hold my breath.

Time to try find an alternative again…

Does exactly what I need
Great functional app that accurately records your time across projects. The support team are also very responsive when needed. Highly recommended.
Great for a single person business
I run a single person consulting business and need to be able to track the time that I spend working on different projects for different clients. I’ve been using Timesheet sort several months and have found it easy to set up and use. It gives me the ability to mark whether an item is to be billed hourly or not while still counting all of the hours spent. I get Excel readable reports of my time that make entering it into my accounting simple. Everything I need to keep track of my time and billing.
I have noticed that a recent update eliminated the ability to save the color of the folder for a project (you can still choose a color, but it gets saved as “ F7E4FC” regardless of what is chosen). This used to work well and I took advantage of it to better organize my projects. Now I have one project that’s an odd, pinkish color.
