Sorry your first session felt that way. What you describe is common when starting out: the sessions make you pay close attention to your tinnitus, so for a while you notice it more. Go at whatever pace feels comfortable, keep the volume low, and skip anything that feels sharp. The first 7 days are free, so there is no cost in trying a few gentler sessions, and no harm done if you decide it is not for you.

Too much talking

After the initial explanation, I have to turn up the volume to my by sound appropriate. Then this get interrupted by LOUD talking! Very do concerting and non-productive!

Please refund my money

The wrong email was used and I cant log in to use the app. I’ve emailed for a refund and cancellation. Please respond. Bad customer service support.

Auto subscriptions

I was charged for a yearly subscription despite cancelling during the free trial period. After contacting support, I was able to obtain a refund. The issue was eventually resolved. I recommend users monitor their subscriptions.

Try it, it works! It requires patience and commitment but I’m only one month in and have noticed a huge difference.

Shady/deceptive subscription trick

I signed up for a trial on my iPhone and decided this wasn’t for me. When I checked my pending Apple subscriptions to cancel nothing appeared in my Apple account. Several days later my c card is charged for a full year subscription. After signing back into the app I learned my subscription was through their website. Very shady. Buyer beware.

Hi, sorry for the confusion here. Because you purchased on the website rather than Apple, it won't appear in your Apple subscriptions list. To cancel, just open Settings → Manage Subscription. Or email hello@mypattern.app and we'll cancel it for you immediately or get a refund (we have a 30-day refund for web purchases!). We're updating the app to make it more clear as well.

Excellent app to combat tinnitus!

Mypattern is helping me overcome debilitating tinnitus. The developers are very nice people as well. Who have made a few adjustments that have made this app really easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Scam to pay

$1 tor 3-day trial for a trial that doesn’t show in your subscriptions and no way to retrieve your log in to use the app or cancel the free trial.

Most unethical business. Apple should be ashamed or worse for allowing scammers in the App Store.

Hi Mike, sorry about this. The subscription was started through our website so it won't show in Apple's subscription list, but cancelling is simple: open the MyPattern app → Settings → Manage Subscription. Or email hello@mypattern.app and we'll cancel and refund you right away, no hassle.

I might pay for something more adjustable.

I’ve determined, on my own study with a tone generator that I have multiple tones and they dance around the notches you have as results. There’s a 13khz, a 15khz, possibly something around 10khz or lower sometimes. It’s a constant sound of something like a bunch of old glass TVs used to make but the sound is pretty loud. I live with this 24/7.

Some customizability and ability to cover multiple tones would be nice. I find it frustrating to have to retake and fix the test and switch between your 14khz and 16khz.

Scam

Please don’t take the 1 dólar trial. Is a totally scam. You put your details and you can never cancel. It’s a shame of Apple have and scam app in his Apple Store.

This Is An Awful App

The process is ridiculous! Cross your fingers and tap your skull! I am trying to cancel and it is impossible. It is a trap! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I have to fight with Apple to cancel a membership they cannot find. It takes 4 minutes to download and I should have known something was not right. This is simply awful!

You can easily cancel in the app: Settings > Manage Subscription. Please send a quick email to hello@mypattern.app. We will find your account personally and make sure your membership is cancelled immediately so you don't have to fight with anyone. Regarding the tapping: I know it looks a bit strange! It’s just a physical way to help the body calm down when the sound feels like too much. It’s helped a lot of people get some relief, but we know it’s not for everyone. Reach out, we'd love to help!
